Good Morning Illinois Seems like our board is moving right along for the positive. Monica home, Dawn with her upper Gi, and Lucy with her new date for Lapband......Where is our Barry!  Have you hit those 2 ounces away from 100 pounds loss?   As far as Martha is concerned....I have called the hospital a few  times and no answer so I'm assuming she's ok and trying to recover, I'm sure she'll get home soon and post when she feels up to it. Well, good morning there Pam and the rest of IL when you wake up. I just got up myself.   I am not sure how I managed to sleep in as it is a rare thing for me. We have a funeral today for a friend's father so I took the day off from work. At this point I am not sure what else we are going to do because we have dedicated the whole day to being at the funeral, burial and luncheon afterwards. I did not get my router in yesterday I got only so far on the instructions and it told me that it could not find the new unit so I gave up after two trys. The husband of our friend that we are going to be with today is our IT guy as that is his full time job - he said he would come over next week. Need to get moving as we need to be out of the door by 9:15 and need to go through a construction zone right at 53/290 near Woodfield.   & Chrissy Pooh

Good morning Miss Pam and Illinois! Yes, where is Barry since he had his debut? Thinking about Martha and hope that she gets home soon and feeling better. I am going to get my house painted while on vacation and then I'll get my carpets cleaned. My house is going to be spic and span for my homecoming from the hospital. It's going to be a brand new life for me with lots of excitement as I go through a new lifelong journey. I'm good at organizing and getting ready. First, I will be going on vacation with my sister for a week in Sedona. I had this vacation planned back in October as I wanted to celebrate my big birthday away from the office. I purchased my plane tickets back then. I am taking a hot air balloon ride on Friday, May 9th. I'll be gone from May 4th and returning in the late afternoon on Mothers Day, May 11th. Then it's only a matter of a couple of days before my surgery. I am working until the end, through Wednesday. Since I have to take my bowel prep, I will be leaving work early on Wednesday. Don't want to have any mishaps at the hospital. Well, it's time to get busy at the desk. Have a wonderful day!! Hugs, Lucy

Lucy you have everything going on.....You are going to stay quite busy from now and to your surgery.  I did the same before my wls....had those carpets cleaned  it was nice to come home to and just heal!  Pam

Good Morning Christine, Pam. and Lucy. It sounds like everyone has there plans in order for the day. I will be going to work, then I need to stop at K Mart  and pick up a new hair dryer. Mine keeps  blowing the breaker on it. I don't remember how old it is, so it probably needs replaceing anyway. Then  When I reach home, I will be packing for the weekend i St. Louis. We will be home late Sunday.  All my spring flowers are in bloom, the grass is growing, and the tree leaves are bursting forth.  Thank goodness spring has arrived, Hugs

Good morning Pam and the rest of Illinois! Where IS that Barry???? I am at work today, but will be gone from tomorrow until Tuesday.  I do not know if I will have access to a computer, so I will miss you all if I can't post. I am pleased to see all the positive energy here on the board.  We have to send some of that positive energy Jenn's way. I have a bit of good news......Todd decided last night that he will join us in New Orleans.  That is awesome as he was my Uncle's best friend and person closest to him these last few years while my Uncle lived up here.  It is only fitting that Todd be there, and the original plan called for him to go, but when my aunt had the meltdown because things were not moving fast enough, it was just going to be me taking her down.  In the last couple of weeks, my other uncles and their families have decided to join us and that makes for a different trip.  In usual Todd fashion, he waited until the very last minute to decide, and he will be flying down on Saturday but won't be coming home until Tuesday.  Funny, but he can stay another night in a hotel and come home on Tuesday, and we will save almost $200.00!!!!!  I feel so much better, much less stressed about the whole thing! I will check in as the day goes on, and will try to check in tomorrow before I leave. Everyone have a spectacular, stellar, lovely day and weekend!

Thank you so much Janet! This will be our second time in NOLA, so we know a little more where to go this time.  The French Market for sure!  I will miss the beignets though.  HE however, will probably eat enough of them for both of us! Thanks again!
