Good morning Jenn. I am busy too... must be something in the air! Happy to hear that things are getting a bit better for you. I've got a busy day at work and then I'm off to the  nutritionist for my pre-op appointment. Got a lot of house cleaning to do, as I am getting my house painted while on vacation. Jenn I am glad that things are a little more stable for your family right now, you are all still in my thoughts and prayers.  Lucy, when do you leave for vacation and when will you be back?  I love Arizona and almost moved there with my family when I was in high school!

Today I will take a shower, walk and rest....of course sip too.  lol  I ate some pureed ground beef with cheese on it last night for dinner and boy I didn't feel good the rest of the night.  I slept terrible too.  I will take a nap today I am sure. 

Other than that, nothing going on here again!

Good Morning All!  It was a very worrisome day yesterday as several managers at my company werre let go.  I've heard rumors that they are going to be cutting more today.  Of course rumors are never reliable, but it has me scared to say the least.  My boss is the last remaining V.P. and if he goes, I would have a whole lot of work to handle that is beyond my level of expertise.  Or worse, if they decided to let both my boss and I go, that would be very bad.  I figure I am safe for this week since I'm in the middle of a conversion in Orlando and I have a non-changeble plane ticket.  And then next week I'm on FMLA for my surgery and they can't seperate me then (it's against the law).  Of course, someone has to run the IT department, so I may be perfectly safe, but you never know when companies start cutting folks.  Today should yeild more real information and not just rumors.  I'm just hoping I'm safe until next year since it is much easier to get a job when I'm thin!  Have a good tuesday.  Paul

Good morning Jenn & gang, Jenn, I'm glad to hear that things are going better.  You all are in my prayers.   Lucy, I bet after the last two days of this weather you are so ready for sunny Arizona. I am off today and have a drs appointment this morning with my endocrinologist.  As my levels are that of a normal person (no more pre-diabeties) as is my triglicerides she will be releasing me today.  Its great news however I will miss her as a dr she is great.  I haven't weighed in a month, so I'm hoping to see some movement of the scale. I am online searching for the cheapest gas prices (fuelmeup.com)  as I need to fill up today.  This is deciding my route to the dr.   Everyone dress warm today just think it could be worse.  We could be in Yuma where it is 100 degrees today. ~Michelle

Good morning Jenn and Illinois! I've got an appointment with my pcp this morning. Tonight there is a support group meeting at Silver Cross. I hope to meet Kim and Kelly tonight. I'm so happy to see there are more south siders joining the board and that some of them have the same doctor as me. Jenn, I hope you have continued calm and happiness in your life. Lucy, Can I go to Arizona with you? I'm really not liking the weather here. Monica, glad to see your feeling better. Lisa, hope your not too busy at work today. Paul, it won't be long now..and you'll be joining us on the losers bench. Michelle, hope you find cheap gas as you head out to the doctor. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good Morning my friends! Busy day for me. Work 2 plus jobs and I have a call into my doc as I still can not eat or drink since sunday. I am really scared. On the good side of things, I weighed 183 this morning which means I have lost 51 pounds so far! I just hope I won't have to get completely unfilled. The doc is in surgery till 2:30 so I will probably go to Barrington during rush hour traffic. Yea! Everyone have a good day and keep your fingers crossed for me. Theresa, Rockford 234 / 183 / 145

     Good morning to all of my Illinois friends ! I am not doing much today. I left work monday at 3:30 am because I had a temp 101.6, so I still am not feeling 100% yet.  Michelle, I am with you on the gas prices. I work 30 miles from home and even though I have a small car, I spend about $70. on average every week now on gas. Let me just say that friday is payday and it cant come fast enough !! Paul,sorry to hear about all of the stress at your job right now. I know its much easier said than done, but just try to stay focused on your surgery. It will all work out in the end. Monica,it sounds like things are starting to go a little better for you- I am so glad ! And Jenn, sounds like things are settling in at your house too ! I gave my parents grief like you wouldnt believe when I was a teen, but we are so close now ! It just takes time. Lucy, I have Dr. Guske too... he is easy on the eyes isnt he ? Good morning Jenn and the rest of Illinois! I am back from New Orleans, and I have to say......WHAT is with this weather??????  I did not take a coat with me as I didn't need one last Friday, and it was just one more thing to carry.  I think I broke my tow, or something in my foot, so I was wearing flip-flops down there the whole time and on the way home.  I about DIED when the pilot said that it was 34 degrees and SNOWING in Chicago yesterday when the plane was coming in!!!!!! My trip was an adventure from beginning to end, but the weather down there was fabulous!!!!   About 85 and sunny most of the time!  I got to wear shorts, camisoles and sundresses!  It felt SO GOOD to be out of the usual 2-3 layers. I am just checking in quickly as I have a lot of work to catch up on.  I am also trying to sneak in reading to catch up with you all.  I think I will find a recipe for you, then I'd better get back to work........ Have a spectacular day everyone!
