Sat. Roll Call,
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Hello everybody! I don't have much new since I just posted last night at 10!
We don't do anything for Mother's Day since Kay's Mom is gone and mine is far away. My kids are also far away and since they have never lived in Rockford, they don't consider this home. We pretty much stay out of restaurants today and tomorrow because of the crowds. BTW, latest restaurant review in yesterday's post.
I might go to the knitting store this morning and knit with whoever is there. Otherwise, the pile of books isn't getting any smaller.
Have a good day everyone!
Connie

I do understand having to pay full price on Sunday. I have emailed the company and they will not budge on their policy. So I responded back saying well then you have lost some long time customers. We used to go their I would say at least 3x's a month and generally we had about 12 of us. Oh well with the fuel cost and customer flow goes low maybe they will recheck that policy? My plans today planting my veggie garden, this yr I am adding an herb garden on the end of it. I pretty much have all my flowers planted. \I also have my grandsons first T-ball game today at 3 so I have a pretty full agenda! Have a grat day Illinois and stop and smile at someone it makes them and you feel great! Karen
Morning Il family....notice there's nothing good about it today!
I woke up at 2:30am with my entire mouth/head just throbbing from pain. I ended up taking a full dose of my Lortab and did get back to sleep after about an hour. It hurts this morning again and I am trying not to take any Lortab yet because I want to go to Tyler's baseball game. I missed his entire track season and that bums me out. I can't find any dentist that is open on Saturdays...I don't get it. I bet they'd rake in big bucks if they worked even short days on Saturdays. oh well. I guess I will be spending my entire weekend in horrible pain and then finding a dentist on Monday. Ronna gave me the name of hers that deals well with babies...I will probably give them a call even though they are far. If I can find one that I am comfortable with and I feel no pain with...I will drive! lol
Mike has been on a rampage this morning because he says the kids can't do anything right....just because they don't put their bowls in the dishwasher the way he thinks they should be. My two boys have been SO helpful around here since I have been home and he just can't see it. I honestly am not sure this is going to work out in the long run.
I hope everyone has a great day!!
I have had a full day so far starting with straightening up the kitchen a little, getting my breakfast, laundry, starting to pack for the Dells next week, going with Dave to a pre surg seminar (his doc ofc), buying a new digital camera (my shutter button came off on Thur. It will cost 181 bucks to fix), gone to Target and Jewel, and now home to learn about my new camera and install the software.
Sorry have been lurking more than much else. It has been a busy week with my sister at my house, her granddaughter over for a sleep over on Wednesday and then down to the graduation on Thursday, which was awesome I am so proud of Bill. We had "Cop On Top" yesterday at the "Dunkie Donuts" in the next town over from us. This is a fund raiser for Special Olympics. I went out to take pictures and also gave a brief talk to 5 school groups what transpires in the Records Division. They usually do not want to hear about Records and dispatch as they just want to see the jail and the squad. It was Government Day for the 5th graders. The kids take tours of all the government buildings in the village.
Man, I am beat. Tomorrow Dave and I are walking in the Y-Me Breast Cancer walk down in the Loop with friends. We have really been looking forward to it for a long time.
