Good Morning all my Illinois friends! Last night I went to my support meeting and the doctor that I have been hoping would do my fills, showed up. I introduced myself and told him that I had talked to his office. He was very nice and confirmed that it should be no problem taking me on for fills and follow up. Although I wasn't worried about getting fills, I feel so good to know I will have this doctor there for any support I may need. My kidney stone problem is now completely behind me and I'm having no problems with liquids. I can hardley wait to get to the next stage. I'm very bored with things that are clear! But I'm dropping weight like you wouldn't believe. Have a great day and stay warm! Paul

Good morning Paul and when the rest of IL gets up - morning to all of you. Getting ready for work here in a short while and I think I will go in and get some catch up stuff done that I could not get to yesterday. Yesterday after work I went to a couple bookstores near Woodfield to get some beginner books on digital cameras. Would you believe that I could not find anything? They were all mumbo/jumbo books about everything but the basics. I know how to get by on my camera but I need some of the more technical stuff explained in simple terms. I did find a few books on Amazon that had good reviews for what I am looking for. So, I did not buy anything but burned gas and then I came home and decided to just Google what I am looking for on the internet. Sony.com I found out has a small beginners course on their site complete with a small quiz at the end so I printed that and am going to go through it at my leizure. I just want the basics like aperture and F stops explained and other minor things. Well, need to get moving and ready for work. Have a great day all. & Christine thinking of Karey and Lucy today!

Good morning Paul and the rest of IL. Paul glad to hear you are feeling better now. and that you have found a Dr. you like for your fills. For me not much going on. I am going to move some plants around the yard today and do some house cleanning. Hope eveyone has a great day

My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good Morning Illinois. Nothing on my agenda today, except to go to work. Yesterday afternoon, I had to go back to the cell phone place and get them to show me how to get the blue tooth to work. I really thought that even I could understand the manual, but this brain had a major melt down, and I didn't understand a thing. Also went and got some pepper plants and cherry tomatoes for DH to plant. Of course, I picked up more flowers as well I need to clear out one of the flower beds before I can plant them. Since I was unable to work on it last year. are the year before, it is overgrown and a mess. Today is Karey's day to join the losers bench. When does Lucy go in? Thank you Marolyn, for keeping up with the secret pal stuff. Paul, you are really on your way. The only thing I am wishing for today is for it to get warm and stay there. I know it was the coldest April in years, I hope the same isn't true for May Hugs.

Good morning Paul, Christine B. and Lisa. I'm having my surgery on Thursday. So today is my last day of solid foods. Tomorrow I'm on clear liquids and have to do the bowel prep

. Paul, I had 2 kidney stones many years ago and it was quite painful. I passed one and they surgically removed one. I hope you are feeling better. I can't wait to join you on the losers bench again. Two more days to work and then I'll be off until May 27th. My house is almost ready and I have to get a couple of things for my immediate post-op period. Willow graciously offered to take me to Alexian Brothers on Thursday morning. So far my surgery time is 9:30, so I have to be there at 7:30. I hope I don't get bumped later into the day. I was already bumped once, as I was originally scheduled for 7:30 a.m, Time to work! Hugs, Lucy

Good morning all you early risers!

I thought I got up early! Today is a busy work day. Some days aren't as busy, but this one is. Sunday I started WOMAN Challenge so I am trying hard to walk more. I went outside yesterday twice and walked around the campus. I still have a hard time on hills so that limits where I can walk. Tonight I will do the Leslie Sansone exercise tape--I promise!

Tomorrow we go to see the psychologist in Madison for the 6 month eval. Kay wants to stop at her favorite flower source afterwards, so I'd better take a book! She has a garden design business and is starting to get calls.

I need to leave for work, so have a great day!

Stoughton--Flower Factory out in the country. Kay would have to give you directions or after tomorrow I will remember the road. I think we go south on 12 and head east on A, but don't hold me to it.

Good morning Paul and Illinois! Today's agenda includes an eye doctor visit....thinking about Karey as she has her surgery this morning......a load of laundry....a wake in Darien. Paul, I'm glad to hear your feeling much better and the weight is coming off quickly. I bet you feel good having met the doctor who will do your fills. It will give you one less thing to worry about. Christine, good luck with your reading about digital cameras. Janet and Lisa, could you plant some extra flowers and veggies for me? I live in a condo and we don't have a garden here. Lucy, it is nice of Willow to volunteer to bring you to the hospital on Thursday. I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Paul.

That's great that you got to meet the Dr that will be your follow up guy. So glad your kidney stone is a thing of the past as well. I am very happy for you!

As for me today...well I am eating my first ever piece of toast with some peanut butter and SF strawberry jelly. It's so yummy. I will go and take a shower and then I am going to go visit a very good friend of mine that I used to work with at Petco and surprise her. I haven't seen her since before surgery! I will come home, rest some since my mouth is still sore, and then when Tyler and Jacob get home, we have to run to Wal Mart for a few things. Do you think I will be able to find Tyler some decent dress clothes at Wal Mart? He's got his 8th grade formal in 2 weeks and nothing to wear. I don't have a lot of money since I am not working and can't afford to spend a lot.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful, sunny, but very windy, day!!
