Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning IL Family!

Today I will be taking Jacob back to the Dr as he's still not feeling good.  I am going to demand testing on his stomach.  He can't seem to eat solid foods, when he does he gets a "tight" sensation in his throat/esophogus.  It scares him.  I have a couple of errands to run and the most important, besides Jacob, is the post office.  I finally have my secret pals gifts set to go.  I meant to go yesterday but I didn't feel good, my muscles in my stomach were pulling  and just didn't feel good.
Other than that, Tyler has a ballgame tonight if it doesn't rain!

Then tomorrow is THE day for my boobie biopsy. I talked to one of the nurses yesterday and she told me to bring my Lortab with and after I signed the consent I could take some.  They promised me that I wouldn't feel a thing, but I am nervous about the pain afterwards.  I am tired of having pain and just want everything to be normal again.

I can't remember how old Jacob is, but do you think he is trying to be like you? My kids sometimes got "sick" when I was when they were pretty young. I hope it turns out to be nothing serious. You certainly have had a time of it!

I have thought about that too Connie.  Jacob just turned 12 on Saturday but he's always been a mama's boy and SUPER sensitive.  With everything that's going on with me and this biopsy thing too, maybe he's working himself up over it.  I don't know.  I am having a heck of a time convincing him he needs to go to school. 

Did I see my name mentioned?         Not me.....I didn't start anything......lol Good morning Pam and Illinois! It looks a bit gloomy out there this morning. Today I must go back and have another mommogram done. They called me yesterday and said the radiologist needs a few more pictures, so away I go again to get squished. I'm just hoping the ones that were done on Thursday were not clear. They really gave me no hint.  Oh well, what will be will be. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good Morning All, Nothing going yet today, no clientshave come in needing any service yet.This really doesn't happen to often. Lucy, I would love to go on acruise with you, but, due to the fact that we are cruising to Alaska next summer, I don't think DH would want me to go. Plus, September is our busiest month, so no vacations granted.                                          I am going to run and get some perennials after work today. I started a new bed over the weekend and I need to fill it. plus, I want to add to my herb garden too. Dawn, I made your lemon icebox pie last night. I didn't put it in a crust (I really don't need the calories). It was delish! My mind war working overtime again. What about chocolate pudding with chocolate sprinkles on it, or add chocolate chips. Lynne I was so scared too.......even 3 months post-op I wasn't too happy about it!  But I LOVE it now and wouldn't do anything different!   When I shop to get new clothes it's because I want to and not have to.  So that in itself is worth it!  No more depression..... Pam

Hello everyone! The sun is finally starting to peek out over here YAY! I am really looking forward to the weather at the end of the week! Looks like my family has all caught some sort of tummy bug. My 3 year old was crying in pain last night Poor kiddo is home from school today, so far so good! I got something interesting in the mail yesterday. I had ordered Recipes for life after weight loss surgery, and eating well after weight loss surgery. As I was pulling the books out of the box, out falls this small piece of paper. I picked it up to look at it, and it was coupons for a free southern style biscuit, and a southern style chicken sandwich from McDonalds! What would make them think to place those coupons with these books is beyond me.....lol Anyway.... 8 more days for me! I go in for my pre-op appointment, and to meet with the nutritionist tomorrow!!

Hi everyone. Sorry I missed the meeting last night. My doctor changed my appointment yesterday to 3:15 and after being stuck in traffic going to Barrington, I was almost an hour late for him to spend 3 minutes with me and get no solutions. I didn't get back to Rockford till 7:30.  I am still getting sick on a daily basis. But, because I didn't lose any weight in 2 weeks (TOM is coming), he wants me to just come back in 3 weeks.  Arghhhh!  I will be keeping my calender open for next months meeting. Theresa, Rockford
