Thursday Roll Call

Good morning Monica and my Illinois friends, We had a ton of rain last night but no hail or tornados, thankfully. Seems like rain off and on all day on the agenda. so will jsut work inside today. We went to see Earl's mom in the nursing home  yesterday afternoon (she has alzheimers). It is getting harder and harder to have a conversation with her,Not sure if it is the progression or if her hearing is getting that bad. Because her part of the conversation made no sense to us. the staff said she is participating in activities more which is good. have a great day everyone. Paulette

Good morning everyone!! Not much going on here today. Just taking care of the kiddos, then I am going to my special education network meeting tonight. I am doing great Theresa! I went to my 1 week post-op yesterday, and I am down 14 pounds! I go back on the 25th, when is the next time you go to see Dr. Hoeltgen?

Hi Monica and the rest of IL - I'm just packing, doing a bit of cleaning and will be leaving for the airport soon.  Calvin's brother is flying back w/ us on Sunday for a few days visit so i just switched out the bedding, and got his room ready. Things have been so busy and I'm ready for it to just slow down.  We leave for North Carolina on the 27th for vacation so I'm guessing it's going to be hecti****il we return. Party, party party on the 21st.  Mark your calendars.  I'm really sorry that it's on a day that some already have other committments but I know that whatever day we choose, it's going to conflict w/ someone.  There will be other times. I hope everyone has a great day and I'll touch base when we return.  We'll be back late Sunday evening. Hugs, Christina

Good afternoon Monica and the rest of my friends! This is the thrid try for me, for some reason, OH was not letting me post. I am working today, then home for Liv's softball game and the Boy Scout family meeting.  If the weather holds off, I will get to do both at the same time.  The Scout meeting is supposed to be at the park where her game is, so pray that the rains stays away! The storm that blew through here was really bad and a bit scary.  It is sunny now and I am hoping it stays that way.  We are on the flight path for the Thunderbirds practice runs (and performances too, I'm sure) and we are hoping to get a glimpse (and earful) of them today and tomorrow. I DOhope the storms stay away tomorrow evening as I DO NOT want to be on the tarmac at the airport in that kind of nasty weather.  Everyone say a little prayer that the weather gets it out of its system before then. Here's hoping everyone has a great day!

Hello Monica and my Illinois friends... It sure is a wet one today... I had a few minutes and wanted to pop in and say hello... Things are up and down around here, thank you all for keeping our family in your prayers! I think about you all often and miss coming to the boards daily... I miss having time for myself! God is good! I know that His hand is in all of this and I know that He has a plan... We are trying to get something worked out and are hard at work getting that done... My kids are in school until June 12th. I have court June 10th at 9am from when Serenity ran away... I have court June 27th at 1:30pm for a DCFS case as well...Take care I will check in soon... Jenn

Good afternoon to all! I have made my journey north and about to go get lunch! I do not see the Dr until 4:30 then off to have the fluro done to see how things are going...Then to support group at 7pm...I am tried just thinking about it..

It was a good drive up missed all the rain! Did have some construction on 80 and a little on 88 but other then that it was a smooth ride.

Well have a great day and enjoy the break in the rain!!!

Good afternoon everyone.  It was a wierd morning with the boards, I kept trying to post and it wouldn't let me. so I gave up. I've had 3 messages from other boards responding to posts from me that didn't show up, however I didn;t post anything.... oh well, I'm fine here catching up with all the paperwork on my desk. getting ready for our mini trip this weekend to Leroy near Bloomington I guess.
