Sunday Roll Call

Good morning Illinois!  It looks to be another hot one here in southern Illinois.  I had to have my cast cut off due to anxiety attacks.  I have never done that before.  I actually couldn't breathe.  I now have a brace, and was told it wouldn't heal right, but it was either that or not breathe....lol I am sitting here enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the rabbits in the yard.  It seems we have several this year.  What are your plans for the week?  I have my nieces on Tuesday, I always enjoy that, DH has a cardiac doppler on Wednesday, so if you could keep him in your thoughts, it would be much appreciated.  He has been having a few problems, and they are running every test possible due to us not knowing a medical background on him.  He is adopted. Well, I am off to enjoy more coffee, and maybe a walk before it gets to hot. Dee

Good morning Dee and Illinois! it's a gonna be another hot one here in the mid section too, but breezy again. So I will be outdoors most of the day. I am too cheap to put the window air conditioners in! Can't control what it cost me a week for gas but I can what it cost me for utilities!   Dee will keep hubby in prayers that all is fine and he get to feeling better soon!  Just T-ball today and I am cooking on the grill before we go. I found foot long hotdogs yesterda y and the grandsons are excited about having them. They haven't never seen them that big before they said. None for me. I will have a pork chop, cottege cheese and maybe some baked beans.  well time to make some coffee! I am going out and sit in the yard with it and enjoy the only cool time of the day!  Karen

Good Morning Dee, and Illinois... We have had some Scary Weather Around here the past couple of days hope every one has been safe through the storms...  Dee I will keep your hubby in prayers... Keep us posted! Keeping you in prayer as well, hang in there... Yesterday we went shopping we got the kids some summer clothes... Serenity had a fish pass, so we took her and got her another one as well... Today will be another sticky day... We have church this morning I am about to go fix some pancakes... Yeap, supposed to be warm and humid here also.  Hope your husband passes his med tests with flying colors and they do not find anything for you to worry about. I have a wedding shower this afternoon in McHenry. I will be riding up with my niece and will help her with the expense of the gas plus I can help set up for the party also. Not much else with me today. I need to tweek a couple of my begonias in the back yard as it looks like the squirrels have been in the pot digging. I do not want to loose these because they cost $4+ each.  There are the big giant ones you can buy with gynormous size flowers. And I need to fill the bird feeders. We slept on our new bed last night that was installed in our living room. It was very comfortable, quiet in the room also because the room is on the front of the house where our bedroom upstairs is in the back of the house and we hear the traffic noise from I-290. Need to move.  & Christine

Good morning Dee and Illinois! Not too much going on here today. Later we are going to Yorkville to visit my  MIL, SIL and BIL and have lunch with them. Just about ready for my trip to WV.  I sure hope that all those chances of rain start to disappear. When I was watching the weather channel yesterday they said portions of I-70  were closed due to the flooding. Those poor people in that area. I can't image. It is devistating to see all the damage to homes from the rain and tornadoes.  I will continue to keep all my Illinois friends in my prayers.  Have a wonderful day!

Hi everyone. Yea that storm was bad, it's hard to beleive the damage it did close to here. Carol, I hope you have a good trip, I've never been to WV. Well I did all my testing this week, and my 4 hour meeting with the Doctor...Next Saturday is that test they stick the camera down my throat, I'm nervous about that. I'm trying to find a protetion shake I like. I bought some sample packs of Unjury...Going to try that next. I have my son's graduation party today....just going bowling and pizza. Hi Lynne, nice to "see" you!  When I first came on here the tattoo on my ankle was my avatar. So when I went to  a get-together no one knew who I was. Showed my ankle and they all recognized me. Had a good time there meeting some of the Il board. I'm not sure if I'll be making it to Christina's on the 21st, but  I'm working on it. Can't wait to meet more of my Illinois friends. I had never been to WV until my son moved there about 7 years ago. His wife is from there. It is really nice there. A little too laid back for me but I love to visit.

Well I still don't know how to put a picture on here, I had to email to OH.com and they finally put it on, took like 3 weeks...now I'm sorry I picked that picture, it's a stupid one....LOL I'm planning on going on the 21st....If you want to go we can car pool...I might be cranky and nervous, being 2 days before my surgery, I'm sure I'll be a basket case. Well ave fun!

I will keep your DH in my thoughts and prayers for his upcoming tests.  I hope they can figure out what's going on.

As for me, today I will run to walgreens to get a script for Tyler filled, turns out he's getting worse instead of better.  Though he did insist on playing his 2 ball games yesterday, they lost the first one and won the All Star game!  Today I have banned him from going to a grad party though.  He needs to rest as he's supposed to start a Ji Jitsu class tomorrow for a week.  His ears are really hurting him and that will throw off his balance too.  Other than that, if it doesn't rain, I have some weeds to pull and also some homework to do. 

This week I have no real plans, besides dropping off and picking Tyler up from his class.  I have a friend that is supposed to come and visit tomorrow, but I am not holding my breath on that one.  She's never been reliable in the 32 yrs I have been friends with her!  lol
