Sunday Roll Call

Good morning Dee and Illinois! I'm sorry that you've had such a difficult time with the cast and hope that you will get better soon. I'll keep both of you in my prayers. Carol, hope you have a good time in WV.  I was caught in the storms yesterday. I was on the way home from Michigan City Indiana. I had  no idea that there were tornadoes touching down. It was a scary trip home on the tollway. At one point, I could see the black gray clouds moving but not touching down. Lots of heavy rain and then things were flying around. Small chips of stones were hitting my windshield as I was driving. Many motorists stopped along the side of the road and under the viaducts. I took it slow and thanked God that I got home in one piece! Had I known I would have stayed in Indiana until the storm passed.  Today I got up late as I wanted to sleep in. Then I went to Walmart to return a few items, then shopped. I bought a brown bikini that has an animal print. I tried it on and it fits! YAY!!! Also bought myself a cute cotton two piece PJ in yellow that has a print containing slices of fruits- watermelon, oranges, strawberries, limes... You get the idea. The bottom part are shorts in the same print. So cute and cool! Now I am having my morning coffee.... Not sure of what else I am going to do today. Maybe visit my sister. This Thursday I will be getting my first fill and can't wait. I need it bad! It looks like it's going to storm here soon. I doubt that I will go to the pool today. But I will be ready for next weekend, either Saturday or Sunday depending on which day I visit my stepdad for Fathers Day. Wishing everyone a safe and wonderful Sunday. Hugs, Lucy

Good morning Dee!  It does look like its going to be a scorcher today-we thought we might do the zoo, but no way in this heat. Good choice on the brace-anxiety can be awful.  I get anxiety attacks when I go over bridges because I have a fear of drowning and not being able to breath. Best of luck to your DH, I will definitely keep him in my thoughts and prayers.  I too am adopted and was unsure for many years of my medical history as well.  Today, is going to be a lazy day.  Lukas (my 15 month old) was up at the crack of dawn with his sister (3 yrs) right behind.  DH works on Sundays so we will probably do a nice walk and play on the swingset...then later to church.   Hope you all have a wonderful day! Good Morning, We picked up the mail this morning, and I have been paying bills and filing. Also got all the laundry done, dryed and put away. Now I am going to start on the kitchen, so, I can  get some dinner going later. Then, its outside to weed and help DH with the pool. I hope he gets it done today so we can swin by next weekend.  Our vacation was good. We did a lot of sightseeing, alot of shows, alot of drinking (tea and crystal lite),  some shopping. It was fun to go, but nice to be home. We got caught in all that rain in Indiana too. It took us 6 hours to get home, in what normally is a 3 hour trip.  The kitchen is calling, and if I want to get outside, I need to get off of OH. Hugs to all.

Good morn...err afternoon Dee and Illinois. I'm slow getting here today. We had a very rough evening and night here the tornado that touched down in Richton Park was about 1/2 mile from my house, an electical transformer blew there so we had no power till about 5 am, made for a very uncomfortable sleeping night. With God's grace our family and friends are all fine. Daughter #2 and family were in the restaurant having dinner across the street from the complex thast got hit , lucky they were all fine, her car ended up with an a/c unit through the back end. Very scary!  This a.m.  I went out to help the hubby clean up the mess in the yard..branches, junk etc. before it got too steamy.  Have a great day! Paulette

Hi Everyone in Illinois, My name is Patty.  I live in Algonquin and am scheduled to have gastric bypass surgery this Tuesday, June 10th.  I'm very excited and nervous at the same time.  I've enjoyed reading all of your posts and have gained very valuable information over the past several months from all of you. I will become more active and post once my surgery is complete.  I want to thank Willow for all of her support !
