Tuesday Roll Call

Good morning girls and boys. Speaking of boys - where have they been? Whoever has Barry in their closet please let him out and share him with the rest of us ! What is on your plate today  For me work then to a custom glass place here in town to have shelves made to go in our new wall unit. Later in the evening a friend is coming over to set up our router network. Finally - we will stop being kicked off line with the router we have that is limping along and needs to be trashed. now have a great day.   & Christine ps did you all see on the news last night about Lake Delton one town over from the Dells that there was so much water from the rain that the lake drained through a new channel the rushing water made. There goes the Tommy Bartlett ski show and all those resorts money from tourists. That was a beautiful lake.

Good Morning Christine and Illinois... Hmmm Barry and Paul have been MIA huh? Paul I missed you at support group last night... I hope all is well with you both... Paul I know you do a lot of traveling and I have missed a lot of posts so forgive me if thats what it is... I still missed ya last night... I am off to court in a few minutes... I see the sun peeking through the clouds here this morning I wonder if it is here to stay? My DH worked on our Pool all day yesterday we put it up the week before Memorial Day and with all this rain and stuff and the weather we haven't been in it yet, the PH was all off we just checked it this morning and it is almost right... whew I tell ya we have never had our numbers this off this soon in the season... Well I hope every one has a very blessed Tuesday! Jenn

Good Morning.  First thing this morning (7:15), I go for my Mammogram, then its off to work. Not sure what I will be doing later. Our pool should be done today, hopefully. I haven't really been in it for 2 years, so this summer I am looking forward to it. I agree Jenn, we can't seem to get the chemicals right either this year.  I should stop at Wal-Mart today and get a new burner for our grill. It burned itself out and we have been unable to grill this season. We still have the charcoal Weber, but, DH would rather not have to clean it ( I will probably use the power washer on it so he doesn't have any reason not to grill)( (I look for any excuse to play with the power washer). Hugs

I'm about ready to leave for a couple's counseling workshop which by some miracle is in Rockford at the Holiday Inn! It's nice to go in town! I'll even be done at 3:30 and get to go home instead of working till 7.I love these kinds of days!

good morning!!  isn't all this rain insane??  theres a lake here in front of our apartment and a walking path around it.  the water level has reached the path in parts.  a few more good storms and its probably going to start burying it!  crazy!!! i had lots of head issues yesterday with my eating.  my head was saying why bother doing all this?  its not going to help!  part of the bout of depression came from seeing the wedding pics coming in.  its crazy how you don't see yourself looking like that. but when you see pictures its a real slam into your psyche.  i'm struggling with that now.  the only thing helping is that hopefully the next event i go to, i will be proud to have my picture taken!  my 10 year high school reunion is in october.  i hope to be 50 pounds lighter by then.  more would be great!   other than my mental battles, its promising to be a nice quiet day.  all kids are still sleeping ( a rare treat for me!) so, i'm enjoying the nice quiet morning with the news and my coffee.  hope everyone has a great day!!!

Dear Christie: I am in the same place in my head.  I lost very slowly for 10 months.  I've lost a total of 90 pounds but only 60 since surgery.  I am now 20 months out and have been in a "stall" for all this time.  I just don't understand why nothing works.  What's worse is that the doctor doesn't have any answers either.  SOOOO, I understand the "why work so hard" issues and struggle.  The thing that I have to remember is that I feel so much better than I did 90 pounds ago and I sure do NOT want to go back. Please try to continue to think positive.....you did it once and you can do it again.  Just keep to the course for your beautiful kids.  They deserve to have a healthy mom that will be around for a long time!

Good morning all,  All this wet weather is crazy.  Our back yard grass is so tall and wet and the ground so soggy  we can't even get the mower through it...By the time is dries out it'll be 2 ft tall (provided there's no more rain). Hi Christie, I work in Wheeling and on my way home last night I saw some of the damage from the storm around Hersey High School.  (I like to take different routes home what with the construction on 53...more fun than sitting in traffic!!)  Have a great day, mary

Good morning Christine and Illinois! We had a sleepover last night! Ava and Vince spent the night with us, while their mommy and daddy did last minute errands for our trip to WV. We used to have a pool many many years ago. I found the ph was always off when we had a lot of rain, and we have had a lot of rain. I'll never tell where the boys have been hiding......... Good Morning my Il family!!

Today Jacob and I are going for our orientation at the gym and then we are going to stay and work out!  woohoo, I am so excited.  Then my sister and neice are coming over and we're heading to Sam's Club, for her, she doesn't have a card!  lol

We are supposed to have a ball game from 8-10pm tonight but not sure how wet the fields are yet.  We shall see.  Tyler has taken 2 doses of his antibiotics and he's feeling SO much better already.  He will most likely start his football weight lifting tomorrow at the high school.  That goes til the 19th, then on the 23 football camp starts until July 31, then I think he's got a week break before the actual practices start. yikes. 

Chris, I didn't see on the news about Lake Delton, but that's sad.  I had a good friend who had a house on Lake Delton and we would spend weeks during the summer together up there.  She was also asked to be in the Tommy Bartlett show when she was younger, she was a great skier...I don't think she ever did it though.  So the Lake is gone for good now?  wow...
