Hi Christie! Congrats on your weight loss. Good morning Christine, Janet H and Christina... Yeah, I bet we'll get a lot of rain in our area. We always seem to! I don't know if you were around town when we got the hailstorm around the 4th of July holiday. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Hail the size of large snowballs. Well, looks like my first fill is postponed due to the doctor. I hate when they call me at home and leave a message when they know that I work. I'm going to ask that in the future, they call me at work. Just another work day for me today. Tomorrow my best friend and I are going to see Sex & the City. I saw it already but don't mind seeing it again!!! Keeping Marilyn and Wendi in my prayers. Hugs, Lucy

Good Thursday Morning Illinois! I want to keep Marilyn and Wendi in my prayers... and pray both of them get well soon... Today is the last day of school for my kids!!! So at my house today is the 1st day of SUMMER!!! OR  LOL!!! *** I have a HUGE update for those of you who have been following my story with Serenity... Tuesday night I had to call the Police again because she punched me in my face, threw a bottled water at my husband's car and dented the hood and was cussing me out and calling me filthy names... now why do I call the Police? I don't know... because through this process I have learned that the police, schools,  hospitals, and DCFS were not here to help my daughter, me or my family... They came and yet again they left and told me to let my daughter "go for a walk" Last night my daughter refused to go to church! She said she is not going to church anymore and "I can not make her go" and guess what? She is RIGHT! and she knows it! Thank you Police, schools, hospitals, and DCFS! BUT PRAISE GOD!!!! THANK YOU JESUS! and thank all of YOU for your PRAYERS!!!!! I have an answer!!! I have been trying to get Serenity into a Christian Boarding School! It is a 15 month program! The cost is $2,500.00 a month! I needed a miracle! Last night as my daughter was walking all over while the rest of my family was in church as I sat out front praying, I called the Boarding School, and talked to the main man... He said he will accept my daughter for $1,000.00 a month!!! Praise God!!! So PLEASE keep praying for us as we work out the finishing details... Thank you all for being SO patient with me as I have gone through this difficult time! I love each and every one of you SO much!!! **** I hope you all have a very Blessed Thursday! Love  Jenn

I do have a question though, what will keep Serenity at the school and will she not try to run away?  Does she know that she is going there?  Where is it?  man, I'm sorry I am being so nosy.  You have been in my prayers for a long time and you will remain there.  I worry for you and your family.  Praise God that this worked out for you!

Good Morning ,  Not to much on my agenda today. Just a few errands and some bookwork.  We met our oldest daughter, Monica and her family for dinner last night. Our DGD is starting to take gitar lessons, and  so they wanted the one here at the house. I didn't even remember it was here until I started looking for it.  Jenn, please pm me your phone #. You know I am here for you.  Marilyn and Wendi, I am thinking about you both. Hugs

Good Morning Christie and the rest of Illinois! I am thinking and praying for Wendi, Marilyn, Jenn and Serenity.  Actually, I am thinking of everyone today and every day. I am very saddened to hear about the tragedy in Iowa at the Boy Scout camp.  Thankfully, David is NOT at that camp.  He is here in Illinois at Camp Lowden.  We fielded many calls last night after the news came on though.  He is at the same 1 week leadership training that they were holding in Iowa.  It really makes me think...........and reminds me to be grateful for all that I have. Today, I need to run to wally-world at lunch to get supplies for Riley's cake and for David's trip next week.  I kind of hate having to run at lunch....it means I do not get a nap, which I have been needing lately.  Oh well.....can't do it after work as Todd is going with his buddies to the Cubs game (they get tickets for the bleachers for 4 of them each year....) and Liv has a game at 6. We will be very busy for the next few days.  Tonight, game and cake baking. Tomorrow work for all 3 of us, dinner, Todd has a game and I will decorate the cake (Mumbles from "Happy Feet").  Saturday, we go to David's commitment and graduation ceremonies, then home to pack him up for the next trip, then Riley's birthday party.  Sunday is Father's day too.......Whew!!!!!! I am looking forward to making lots of new friends and catching up with old friends next Saturday! Remember, next month is "A Day in Rock City" on July 19th.  You are all welcome to come visit the "sticks" and enjoy our little festival and hang out in our back yard. I am wishing everyone a lovely day (wish I could say "dry".....)

Rain lovers--go away for a while! (LOL) I'm probably the biggest rain lover around, but this is getting to me as the snow did this winter. I must be on a shorter fuse than usual! I don't usually try to control the weather. Here is my positive outlook. I have to park under big trees at work. If one comes down on my car during a storm, the insurance would have to buy me a new car that isn't a gas guzzler! Bring on the storms!

Well, as those of you who know me can see, I'm in a weird mood today. I'd be go to work and hunker down. Have a great day!

Happy Thursday!! Wendi, I hope they getthings figured out for you, and you are feeling better soon! Jen, good luck with the boarding school. That is great that they will knock the cost down that much! Today is another busy day for me. After I finish posting, I have an hour to get the house picked up, and laundry started, then I am off to the boys' school for Field Day. I was hoping to be there for the full day, but my hubby couldn't get out of work any earlier. Oh well... it works. lol 3 more days of school after this, then I will officially have a 1st grader! It seems so crazy to me.
