CherieB is home and doing well!!!!

Cherie Says: Hi honey...IT'S FINALLY OVER! Thanks so much for your care and concern and for giving me that information. It is weird because some doctors have their patients on a liquid diet while others don't...my doctor is forcing me to eat purreed with as much protein as possible. I am just getting back in from Chicago. I had my one week appointment yesterday and all is well. I have lost 25 pounds but I'm not getting enough protein. I am having a few gas retention issues (everytime I drink or sip, gas builds up extremely and I can't drink anything else--for some strange reason, when I eat my pureed nibbles of whatever, there's usually no problems with gas..WEIRD!) Well, I am up walking around and I feel pretty good most of the time. I just struggle with the getting up and down portions of the routine due to stomach aches from the surgery but that is pretty much it. I am sure there may be bumps in the road but so far so good! How are you doing? How's everything going?
