Monday Roll Call

Good Morning all my IL friends!!!! I am hoping for an answer on what is going to happen today.  I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.  I am still in pain, and I truly hate taking some of the medications they are giving me as the side effects from them is less than desirable IMO.  Some of these are nausea, drowsiness, confusion, dry mouth, constipation, urinary problems, oh and liver problems. Miss Lucy, just checking on you....... Hope you are feeling better. Thank you to Janet K., who called me yesterday.  It sure did help the mental state.  This is taking its tool on me, as I am frustrated just as much as Dr. Rantis.  The only bright side from being stuck here is that I have more or less reset my pouch, and I have lost weight.  I am down 65 lbs since my surgery which it will be six months on 6/28. Well, what is on your plate today?

Wendi and Illinois!  Good morning!  Wendi, so sorry to hear about your problems.  I hope it gets fixed.  I am teaching vacation bible school this week, so I may not be around in the mornings as much.  Then afterwards I have to watch Gavin, Jillian, and Taylor, so I will be busy. Good Morning All - Calvn and I came home to a mess late yesterday afternoon.  We had part of a tree down in the front and one in the back that took down a bunch of different lines.. power, cable etc. We stayed at a hotel last night due to no power and it appears that everything is back on but the lines are still down in the back yard. It's always something.  I have to get busy here at work.  I hope everyone has a lovely day. Wendy I hope you find some answers, I know that must be agravating.... Christine, sorry you came home to a mess, we sure have had some bad storms.  It rained by us yesterday but nothing bad.  Now Saturday we had some wind come through that was bad. Has anyone heard from Lucy?  I wonder if she ended up in the ER? Well I'm one week out... nervous and excited all in one emotion.  I started my liquid diet...hope I can do this....... Lynne

Sorry to hear that Serenity is having issues again,  I think that due to her age she may be experiencing hormonal issues.  You know, just like how we were following surgery with our hormones being out of wack.  But that is just my guess that this might be just some of the issue.  If you are coming to ABMC, I would love to meet you.  I am up on 6 West room 608-1.

Good Morning on this beautiful day, even if it is a Monday. I am sitting here in my office, waiting for clients to come in, eating a bit of breakfast. I decided it was more important today to drink a cuppa coffee on the deck, then eat a early breakfast.  Not much happening here, after work will probly go for a haircut, then some other earrands. I am looking forward to Christina's party this weekend.My daughter lost some limbs in Bloomington yesterday too. Wendi, I really hope you getsome satisfaction today. I know its hard when you are in the hospital. Dee, have fun with the kids this week. Everyone have a great day. Hugs

morning everyone!!!   wendy, your definetly in my thoughts and i hope they figure things out quickly for you.  out of curiosity, have they looked at a possiblility of a strangulated hernia?  i had one in 2005 and all the docs swore it was my gall bladder even though all tests came back with a perfectly healthy gb.  it took a general surgeon to figure out that it was my guts twisted and swollen.  i hope this isn't it for you because it required emergency surgery and recovery was painful.  best of luck to you!! for us, we're simply going outside and going to enjoy this wonderful day today.  its promising to be a great one!  have a great day everyone!!
