I'm Home from the ER
Good evening everyone. I went to Alexian Brothers ER this morning. I just got home. All my tests were OK.
They gave me a liter of IV fluids, something for nausea and several doses of pain medication.
I really think it was caused by the butter flavoring on the popcorn I ate on Friday. The docs think it was either that or a stomach flu.
Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I hope that I am on the way to recovery now.

Hi Monica. I don't know how I'm doing. I feel not so good today as I had an episode of diarrhea at work. I'm still nauseated too.
I'm seeing Guske on Friday. Something is causing this diarrhea.

Monica, I did a lot of thinking on the way home. The old Lucy who you met last summer is back. I think of all I've accomplished and working towards that goal again is so worth it.
I am looking forward to getting my first fill on Friday. I know it's not the total answer and that I have to do my part. I am doing my part now.
I remember feeling so good about myself. Shopping was so much fun. Fitting into the small clothes and buying things off the rack without trying them on, high heel shoes, etc... I just loved my lifestyle. This girl is back to stay!!
