I'm baaaack.....

I'm back....like a bad penny!  Good morning to all my Illinois friends! I"m gone for 5 days and there is sooo much happening around here.  Welcome to all the newbies! You will find friendship and support here! To all those that have been ill and are in the hospital my thoughts and prayers are with you. To those of you having surgery this week, I will pray for a quick recovery. To those who are still MIA...I hope all is well, plaese check in. I hope that all the Dad's had a great Father's Day! We had the most enjoyable 5 days in West Virginia. My DH was with all 4 of the grandchildren in the pool on Sunday. He did wear his "Grandpa is my name..spoiling is my game" t-shirt during the day. I have to go for an ultrasound on my right breast today, so I need to get moving. I hope everyone has a great day! Enjoy the weather.

Welcome home Carol.....We leave early tomorrow for our wedding anniversary (32 yrs.)  get away. We'll be back home on Friday., So we can go to Christinas on Saturday. Paulette

I tried it to and it said page not found....weird...my sil was able to to use the link to open it earlier today.  Anyone know I can copy the link and then ad it to a message? When I right click on the web address and then try to paste it to the message on OH it doesn't take it. Any suggestions?

Happy to see you back safe and sound. I guess that I am one of the MIA's though I do lurk a few times a day. I have been putting my living room back together after we had it painted and the new wall unit put in. I have creatively been finding items to act as book ends instead of buying expensive actual bookends. Like I bought two urn shaped clear vases from the resale shop and I bought pretty decorative rocks, shells (actually had the shells) and colored glass pieces to act as "weighted" objects to hold up the books. I also found some neat old hard covered Readers Digest books with some of the classic titles. I am being given an old set of World Book encyclopedias also. My mom sold them door to door back in the 60's so it is nostolgic for me to have them. I also found some colorful paper storage boxes that you use for storing treasures or photos in and weighted them down with rocks and placed them on the shelves. Need to get going.  Chris

Sounds like your having a great time changing the decor of your living room. It is fun to know what you want then have fun looking for it. There are a few antique shops we pass in Ohio on our way to WV. One day I may stop in there to look.

Hello Ladies, Well today was interesting I had my IVC filter inserted, deep groin area a little on the tender side, but all went well and it didnt hurt like I thought it would..what a big wimp I'am...   I tell ya this liquid diet leaves alot to be desired, especially when you can't get out of the house and stay busy.   Well enough about me,  how is everyone's day going?   ONLY 6 MORE DAYS til surgery can't believe it's almost here....finally.
