Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning everyone and happy mid week. What is going on in your world today? Not much for me other than I will be getting ready for work here in a short while then after work I will need to water all my plants outside. Somewhere in there I will be starting my packing for the Dells next week Tuesday. I know what I need to take with it is just a matter of organizing everything. All Dave needs to do is get his golf clubs out. I am the packer in the house and make sure the vehicle is organized. I look forward to seeing everyone at Christina and Calvin's on this coming Saturday afternoon. Touch base with her if you haven't about what you will contribute - she has a list posted on her thread a couple days back.  & Christine

Good morning Christine and Michelle. I've got an early meeting at work this morning. My mom is having eye surgery this morning and I pray that it goes well.   My diarrhea appears to be better this morning, So far, no episodes. I got up and exercised on the gazelle for 15 minutes. I haven't been able to do that for some time. Tomorrow I have my Healthstyles Class at Alexian Brothers. Not much else going on. I want to say thank you to everyone for your support yesterday. I definitely felt the love and caring from all of you. I am so looking forward to Christina's get together to be able to visit with you, some for the first time. Lucy, I am so happy that you are finally on the mend with the diarrhea issue. Been there done that as I have microscopic colitis and it hits me out of the blue sometimes. I hate having to be near a bathroom as those episodes just take over your life until it subsides. See you on Saturday. Chris

Good morning everyone.... Hope everyone is well......The weather can't be beat!  I wish everyday could be like the last few we had. I'm on day 3 of my liquid...it's a little better.  I DID CHEAT LAST NIGHT, I HAD 3 HARD BOILED EGGS.  I figured it would be ok??  What does everyone think?  Should I tell my doctor?  I just couldn't stand it....it was driving me nuts.  I guess I could have had a cheeseburger and fries, but I didn't. Just trying to finish up my work and school before my surgery next week. Have a good day everyone, Lynne

Lynne, stay on the straight and narrow with the liquid diet for the remainder of the time before surgery. You can do it. It is up to you on whether you tell your doctor or not, let your conscience be your guide.  Christine

Good Morning Christine and the rest of Illinois! I am working as usual today.  Tonight, I have "A Day in Rock City" meeting.  That is about all that is going on with me this beautiful day. Things may be a bit different in the Dells next week.  It will be interesting to see how things are going up there.  I hope that those that live in the area are getting their lives back to normal. I am excited about meeting new friends on Saturday and catching up with old ones.
