SATURDAY ROLL CALL

if  your electic is out you can still open the garage door manually - go out and look by the electric opener, there is a rope / pull cord hanging down where the top of the door attaches to the track, , pull on it and it takes the door off the door opener, you can then lif tthe door manually. when the door goes all the way back up it will hook back into the opener,

Morning everyone.  Well I'm trying to finish my packing as the Limo will be here at 1:00 to take me downtown to my conference.  I have so been looking forward to this for months. I will miss everyone today at Christina's but promise to try and join in next time around. Will also miss the Kane Support Group this morning - third month in a row so that's not good but promise I will make the next one. So I will be MIA till next Thursday.  Feel good and be well everyone.

Ronna, I have missed you!!!!!!  I hope your job is going well.....how is that computer bag working for you?  I too have not been to support group for the last three months, and need to get myself down there.  But usually by this time of morning I am already in the gym sweating up a storm.  Oh how I do miss working out.  I hope to get back to it next couple of weeks.

Hey Wendi, Hope you're feeling better.  The rolling bag is just wonderful.  I use it every day.  The job is great.  I'm just putting in too much time there. I'm inby 7 and don't usualy live till about six.  So it is a long day and I'm starting to feel a bit run down. Hopefully the change of pace with the conference this week will re-energize me a bit. I have to finish packing and then the limo will be here at 1:00! I'm almost ready to go.

Hey Ronna,  I will miss you at Christina's today.  You didn't miss much at the support group....oh wait, that's because Dr Crane wasn't there and they canceled it.  So, those of us that were there just sat around and talked for a while.  Kinda had our own support meeting..lol

I got to see Lucy!!  woohoo

Good morning marilyn and the rest of my Illinois Friends! Marilyn, I am sorry that you won't be able to make it today, I was looking forward to meeting you, but it will happen another day, I'm sure! I am glad to see that Wendi will be making it, it will be good for her to get out and about.  We will make sure she takes it easy though...... I decided to make a point to stop in this morning for amy last minute information before heading into the big city later this afternoon.  I was thinking of leaving early and doind some shopping too, but we will see.  I have to stop into my office because I forgot my map and phone number in my desk.   I am looking forward to seeing you all later on.  It is cloudy here, but not raining......

Good Morning to everyone this AM. I have some wonderful news to report. Yesterday, my insurance has approved me for the Gatric By-Pass.........................................I cried about an hour in thinking my life is going to change and that after 43 years of living a life of abuse to my body that I will be re-born. Moday I will know my date as my Dr. Would like to get me in ASAP as I have been dealing this for about a year now. I will forever be needing my new friends on the IL WLS for support as well as I will assist when i can. Thank You to all who make this forum alive everyday. XOXOXO to everyone

CONGRATULATIONS on your approval!!! I remember feeling the same way....crying with relief, hardly able to believe that the long process was finally going to pay off! Let us know when you get a date!  We will support you the whole way.

Good morning all my Illinois and visiting friends.  We will be off to the airport to head back to home in a little bit.  Unfortunately, we won't be back early enough for the party, but my heart and spirit will be there.  Liz and I are still planning to do the next get together at our place in Cary, next month or early August sometime.  Congradulations on getting approved on your operation!  As for the Cubs and Sox, either way Chicago wins!!!  But truth be told, I'm a North sider.  Our pitchers still have to bat!  Have fun and eat a shrimp for me!  Paul
