Monday Roll Call

Good Morning all I'm new but my prayers are with all of you.  I am from Johnsburg Il. I had my surgery done May 28th I have lost 15#'s I am feeling good.  I had my surgary done at St. Alexius hospital in Hoffman Estates and my doc. was Peter Rantis. Hi Kathie, I had my surgery 4/14 at Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village and my doctor was/is also Dr. Rantis. I'm in a bit of a stall with my weight loss but I expect "boom"! and an unstall pretty soon.  I hope.  People are complimenting me so I think I'm losing inches and/or looking better because of better nutrition.  Aw heck, I'll take any compliment. Looking forward to seeing some more posts frome you in the future Kathie.   Mary

Good morning everyone! Just got from seeing my primary MD and all is good except of course the pain in my right leg..it appears I have to live with it... Starting jazzercise today with my boss from work....I hope it goes well and I will be scheduling my times in so I get it in 3 days a week. If anyone wants to join me I am open to any location. Hi Glenda, Sorry to hear about your leg pain. You'll have tolet us know how the jazzercise goes, I have bad knees so I don't think it'll ever work for me. Paulette

Hi Everyone! It's been encouraging reading posts here and looking at numbers. Gives me hope ;) I just heard from the PA today, and even though my insurance doesn't require a wait period, I still have to attend a seminar, see a pscyhiatrist, physical therapist and nutrionist. I'll be attending the seminar on July 25 which will get the ball rollling. They said it takes about 6 months from start until a surgery date - that's a little longer than I was hoping for, but doable. I have to remind myself I've been overweight for a long time, so waiting 6 months to start losing shouldn't be a big deal. I hope everyone has a good evening! Helen

Well, I KNOW that I am very late but I had a lot to do today with work and catch up at home. I am all packed for the Dells and just have to put last minute things into the car tomorrow. Dave will pick me up after work at 4 and we will be off. I do have my 'puter but will not have access until we are at Chula on Thursday morning. So I will pop in and out tomorrow morning and during the day.  I am up for a short while to look at the road closure maps on the WI DOT web site then it is off to bed. We will be going to Lake Delton to take some pictures of whatever there is to see or not see, blah, blah. Chris
