Support Group in Chicago (city)

Hello all: I'm having my WLS this coming Thursday and I would like to join a support group in the Chicago area. Anyone familiar with this info? Thanks!

Hi! I too am looking for a support group in Chicago, preferably on the North side or in the Loop. I'm having my RnY WLS in July in NYC and the nutritionist coached me to find a group here where I live in Chicago. Thanks!

Most surgeons have their own group. Otherwise, you could start your own which we did in Rockford. If you want more info on that, PM me and I'll tell you how to go about it.

I know Woody (Dr Denham) has one that his office does. It meets at Evanston Hospital or the hospital in Hoffman Estates. . They will tell you. Carla

There's a group at Ressurection West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park -  meets the 3rd Monday of everymonth at 6:30 p.m. in teh basement of the hospital.
