Good morning Paul and my Illinois friends,  Paul congrats on the weight loss and have fun bike shopping for your son. Earl got my old coaster bike fixed but I haven't been riding it yet other than on the patio....my knees aren't cooperating yet, Hopefully we'll get a dry day here soon so I can take it to the park and try again. Pam, size 4 awesome!!!! Congrats on the 104# weight loss you must feel fantastic.  Christina have  a great vacation in NC! Chris & Dave, sound like you are enjoying your time in the Dells. Lisa, sound like you have a busy day planned with housecleaning, that'll burn some calories . Janet I'll keep your SIL in my prayers.  Dawn, have a good time at the marching band event, sounds like you'll be supre busy. Carol, good luck with your 2nd fill, you are doing awesome in your weight loss. Connie have a great day, I love salmon too.      Me- for today more of the same working in the master bedroom. Also had a wow moment today..  My nutritionist is right!  After 1 week of making sure I have 1000 calories a day I have lost 2 lbs, yipee!!! since March I have only lost 2 pounds per month on 700-900 calories. Amazing how eating more seems like it shouldn't work but it does. Maybe that means my metabolism is actually working.  Have a great day , Paulette

Good Morning Paul and the rest of my IL family!

I want to get a bike so I can go for rides along the Fox River which is right by my house!  they have such a great bike/walking path along there.

Today I am going shopping for some new pants, mine are getting baggy...lol and some bras!  lol
Austyn is going to the Dr at 2:30pm for a throat check, he keeps clearing his throat with these little grunt like coughs and his tonsils look horrible.  Mike is taking him, but I am tagging along so I know what happens.  I learned the hard way not to trust those two at the Dr's again!

After that we will drop Austyn off with his grandma and Tyler off with his dad and then Jacob, Mike and I will come home and veg.  Tomorrow we will go and help my neice and her family move from Mt Prospect waaaaayyy down to Spring Valley!  They bought their very first home!  I am so excited for them.

Have a wonderful day!

Monica

I haven't been on here too much the last couple of days.  Work is really cracking down on internet use, and my Greyhound tore the nail off his left front leg, left side (like your "baby toe". on Wednesday night, so the last 2 days have been different.  He evidently got it caught on something, I'm not sure as I was in the oter room, I came out to see what the noise was that sounded like something falling off the counter, saw nothing, then looking for Savage saw blood spots ALL OVER the house.  I first thought he stepped on something sharp and sliced his foot, but upon further examination saw it was the nail with the nerves and blood vessels left behind.  Vet says his toenail will grow back.  \ Greyhounds are so stoic.  Not even a whimper from him unless you touched his hurt spot.  anyway, he's sportin' a cool purple sock. Have a good weekend everyone, looks to be busy for us. mary
