Hi Carol, I'm doing good so far.  Saturday was rough and sunday afternoon alot of crying and thinking OMG what have I done, but I talked to a friend who had her's done about 2 months ago and she said this too shall pass.  Whats funny is I'm counting the days til friday when I can go to creamed soups (gastric steak dinner)...lol   I'm bored but know I don't have much energy at all, so I tire very quickly.  I ended up with a blood clot in my right leg, but my protime levels are good and at therapeutic level, so hopefully after tonight and tomorrow my hubby won't have to give me the stomach shots of Lovenox anymore.  This definitely is a new experience and journey.  You know what I really miss, it's chewing, is that not weird. I am such a late poster...by the time I get my kiddos in bed and sit down it is late. Paul- Congrats on the new car!  I feel ya on the gas situation. Christie-  How exciting about loosing the inches.  I am having my DH take my measurements on Sunday, the night before my surgery to track my changes as well.  We will see how that goes Christine- I am so envious of the trips you guys take- each one sounds better than the last.  Glad you had a good time. Lucy- Best of luck on your labs tomorrow!  Hope they figure out what is wrong with that air.  At least you have a loaner to keep you cool.  Keep your chip up about the man issue-  walls are easy to put up but take time to take down.  Any man would be lucky to get a gal like you! Connie- that is so exciting about the garden!  Can you post pics? Paulette-  I am sorry to hear about your MIL.   I watched my grandfather die with alzheimers and it was very difficult.  I will keep your family in my prayers- I know it can be very hard sometimes. Well, it was a crazy day!  Anything my 3 year old could get into trouble with, she did... and being on week 2 of my liquid diet, my patience was very, very thin.  I feel like such a witch, but I keep telling myself to take a breath.   I even threatened to take all her toys away...WOW...did THAT come out of my mouth?  I think I am just having a hard time because my husband works the 1-11 shift and really isn't home much, my mother still says "maybe you should rethink this whole thing if you are having such a hard time" schpeil, and I am just plain old tired.  I watch a 6 month old  (who has colick) in the mornings along with my 15 month old and 3 year old.  I am just plain tired. OK...so I am done whining...I would like some cheese with that whine! hahahahah  Seriously,  I cannot wait for surgery next week.  My insurance company's nurse called and was so sweet.  She even asked if she could call me the week after surgery to see if I am ok.  It was very kind...just like all of you have been! Have a super night and see you in the AM! Katie
