Questions about vitamins
Where are the good, reasonably (compared to others) priced chewable GB vitamin sources online? There's one pharmacy here that carries the Bariatric Advantage, but it's a lot more than what I've seen online..and also, there seems to be a difference in prices there, too. For now, I'm taking Centrum multi, B12, etc..non-chewable, of course. My surgery is coming up..and I'm planning on ordering the stuff tomorrow (hopefully)..I've already gotten a 30-day supply but I feel like all the "good deals" are elusive..and there's one place out there I've not discovered.
Anyways, I'm throwing an SOS out there..
Hope all is well with all of you! Hi I take Bariatric Advantage Chewable Vit. I get the from my Dr. office, but you can get them at www.bariatricadvantage.com and the cost is $36.95 for 180 and my Dr. has me only taking 1 a day Hope this helps. Congrarts on your upcoming surgery,
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Hi there!
I get most of my vitamins at www.vitacost.com. I have found them to have the best prices.
I do NOT take a "bariatric" vitamin though. I take the following: Carlson Labs Chelated Chew-Iron ($ 2.16 per 30) early AM with a 500 mg vitamin C. (These I do at about 4 am when I get up to potty and exercise, because the iron needs to be isolated from everything else except for the C that helps absorbtion.)
Country Life Tall Tree Children's Chewable 2 per day, morning (on my way to work, after showering and dressing, usually an hour to an hour and a half after the iron) and night before bed. $5.28/100 B12 Sublingual 2000 mg 1 per day (morning). I got these from Trader Joe's for about $7.00 for about 100 dots, but they have them at Wal-Mart really inexpensively too. I will look them up at Vitacost the next time I order. B-100 Complex 1 per day (morning). These I also got these at Wal-Mart for about $3-$4. These are a caplet, but I cut them in half so that the coating does not inhibit absorbtion. I take the NSI Calcuim Citrate chewable wafers from Vitacost (500 mg calcium, 200 IS D3 & 250 mg Magnesium Oxide) $ 9.19/120. 8 per day--beginning at about 9 am, I chew 2 at a time every 2 hours. This brings my average monthly cost to about $35.00 per month for the surgeon recommended vitamins INCLUDING the calcium. I also take D3 because I am low, stool softeners & Magnesium Oxide (for constipation), A, D & E (just because), and Acidopolous (to deoderize the gas). These are all "extra" that work for me, but not "required". I hope this helps.......and good luck next Tuesday!
