Did You Move To Lose Today?
Hey Everyone
How are things going with your exercise? Are you staying on track? Are you finding your energy is improving and your endurance?
I am hitting the bad down in the basement and it really feels great to get back to it
As you may know I have been training for the 5k, and find I am just not cutting it. Not that I don't want to do it my body is saying no, no, no,
The one thing I was surprised about was my back bothering me. I am going to keep on truckin but it's apparent running will not be my thing
So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today? Come on in and let's be accountable
Stay Sexy, Sassy and Strong
Take care,
Kathy

Good afternoon Kathy!
Yes, I DID! I did the stationary bike again this morning (35 minutes at an average of 23 mph), but what I wanted to tell you about was the POWER-WALK I took yesterday at lunch.
I work in an industrial park where there is a decent mile-long walk around. I have not been taking advantage of this as I have been wearing dresses and sandals. With the cooler weather, I had jeans and sneakers on yesterday and decided to walk at lunch. Well, I popped in my MP3 player and before you know it, I was swinging my arms and walking at a pretty fast clip. I walked up the hill outside of our office, then around many of the parking lots on the way to add steps. I added some leg extensions on a curb along the way too. By the time I was done, I felt like I had a GREAT work out! Guess what???? My arms and legs feel it today! And I thought walking was not that great of a work out!!!
I usually take a short nap at lunch time, but I am going to try to stay awake and work this into my routine a couple of times a week while the weather allows.
I can not run (due to medical issues) but I CAN power-walk!
Good luck to you and your training. I admire you for keeping at it and I'm sure that you will meet your goal, even if running is not your workout of choice!
