who is the best lap band surgeon in chicago

Just interviewed Dr. Mayers at Day One.  Thinking about Vitello at UIC.  Any information?  THANKS!

I use Dr. Meyers at Rush Univ. I think he is the same one.  He is very good, makes you feel comfortable.  I have had 5 visits with him so far and has always been very good with me.

Although I had my lapband done at a fantastic facility in Mexico, I am using Dr. Amir Heydari at Centegra in Woodstock, IL for follow up.  He is absolutely the best and would highly recommend him.  In Mexico, I used Dr. Jose Rodriguez and he was also great.  If you are a self-pay, he would be my recommendation.

I agree with Paul, Dr Heydari is the best!  He is a wonderful surgeon and passionate about his work

I went to the Kane Center  at Alexian Bros. Medical Center.  I see  Dr. Paul Guske. No one can compare to him. In fact, the Kane Center is a center of excellence, and the only place my insurance (BCBS, Anthem, its based in Ohio) would approve.

I had Dr Rosen in Downers Grove! His practice is LifeWeigh Bariatrics. He has a very knowledgeable staff. He really listens to the needs of the patient! He also has a monthly support group and he trys to cover any and all questions we have. His staff will really go out of the way to help you when they can. I would recommend him to anyone!

Have to agree w/Lisa-the Kane Center is the best!  All the surgeons in the group are so knowledgeable and very personable.  My only complaint would be some of the office staff need some people skills, but to have surgeons w/such great skill , it's worth it and I have a big mouth so, they don't intimidate me.  Good luck-hugs-Janet K
