Thanks for the reassurance!  After seeing "The Full Montey" last night, I'm willing to accept that!  But I don't think any of you have to worry about seeing me bear it all.  Even when I get to goal!  The thought of wearing a thong (even on a thin body) scares the living daylight out of me!

Hey, I work two stop light south of there.  You were in my neighborhood.  Congrats on your loss.  That is 5 lbs that you did not need.

Good morning Paul and the rest of my IL family Paul congrats on you lost, don't beat your self up over not  losing more, I look at it as long as the scale goes down and not up it is a good lost.and will take it.
Not much going on here today as always, I do have a Dr. appt. with the foot Dr, this AM, then it is back home and watch it rain,
Christina hope everything goes OK with  you HR people.
Monica good luck with you phone interview I hope you can get the job, I would love to work in a vets office as I do love my animals , let us know who it goes,.

Well, it's FRIDAY!   I sure am glad.  I love the weekends.  Paul, I would take a 5 pound weight loss any time.  I was at the surgeons yesterday and I know I was down but we got sidetracked so I dont know how much in the last month. 

Christina, hope your day goes well.  Sounds a little stressful.

Crystal, I have never had a White Castle hamburger.    However, I did get to follow the original White Castle building getting moved in Columbus OH one year.  It was a looooong drive. 

Monica, good luck on your job interview.

That play sounds like fun, I'm glad that you enjoyed it.  I wonder if I could get Amber to go see it with me? mmmmmmmm?  Congratulations on the pounds gone...you really are doing very well, only 30 pounds to go!

I am working today, then out to get Liv, then back in for my In-Laws' party.  I sure hope the rain leaves before then as their house would be pretty cramped if we had to be inside.  Plus, he just had the whole place re-landscaped and wants to show it off and he will be upset if he can't.  I am still a bit apprehensive about the whole thing, but have pretty much made my peace with it.  I talked it out with my aunt last night and it seems to have helped, just to get validation that I am not the crazy one.  Besides that, there is NO WAY that she would do that to me again, absolutely not in front of my husband.  That was my mistake last time, going into the lion's den alone.

I am wishing Monica good luck in her job search and good luck to Christina on her orientation.  Maybe we will all come to your Outback for a get-together some time?

Crystal, hang in there.  A crappy job is better than no job at all and you did AWESOME with the White Castles.  I LOVE those!!!!  I could probably only eat one now, but the grease would make me ill.  We had Hooters for a company party not too long ago and 2 wings made me sick with all the grease.  Luckily we had boiled shrimp from there that day and those went down just fine.  We don't have any White Castle restaurants around here, so I have not tried.  But, I still LOVE them!

Janet, I hope you get good news at the foot doctor and your foot is healing as if should.

I don't know what all happened the last time you went to "the lion's den", but I believe you to be a force to be reackond with!  Hang tough, you will triumph over those who try to mess with you!  I've never understood why in-laws seem to be threatened by those who marry their children.  My mother-in-law get along most of the time, but sometimes I feel like she would rather see me tied to train tracks!  I was amazed to hear that she is complimenting my weight loss to all of her friends, when she's never said a word to me or my wife!

Today is a busy day getting ready for Brigid's party tomorrow.
Lots of things left to do.  I posted yesterday about all the doings going on.

I am looking forward to seeing all our friends and visiting with everyone even though food wont be part of my day.  I have been having problems with eating lately as I posted earlier, so I am taking it slow and easy for awhile.  Im not sure what the problem is.  I have been getting headaches over my right eye lately, I think due to hunger.  It seems when I rest and try to eat something, it goes away.  Oh well, this too shall pass.

My eyes are on Texas this morning because my son lives six small blocks from the coast near Galveston. He, of course, has evacuated but isn't the type to let us know where he is. I just hope their house is destroyed. It seems close enough to the water to end up flooded! I also have friends in Clear Lake which is the next town. These disasters just keep coming. I'm glad to be living here!
