Brrrr Good Tuesday Morning Illinois!
Boy is it cold out there this morning. I always turn my heat down at night and it sure was hard to leave that warm bed this morning!
At least it wakes you up and gets you ready for the day.
Only 1 week left until the elections. Have you decided who you will be voting for? Are you tired of all the politics yet? I get amazed at the amount of money that is spent in campaigning and how nasty it can get.
Anyone with any special plans for today?

Hello everyone, 
It is a cold morning. I had to scrape my windows. I hate that. I do like the cool crisp weather at night. It helps me sleep.
Well I'm already at work and I'm already bored. I'm going to the support group meeting today at Silver Cross. I'm taking my best friend with me. She had Lap Band surgery last year and has been looking for a support group closer to home (she had her surgery in Chicago). I'm going to mention it again to my co-worker, I'm thinking she won't come.
Nancy- Yes I'm sick of all the politics. I always vote. That was something that my grandma always taught me So I always vote (haven't missed one election). I have passed this down to my daughter and she has already sent in her absentee ballot. This is her first election. She's actually very excited. I remember I was really excited my first year too. I do know who I'm going to vote for.

that's great about your daughter Crystal, more young people need to follow the politics and get out there and vote. This country needs it!
My son can't wait til he can vote...in the next presidential election he will be able to! LOL not for the primarys though...he will turn 18 on March 17, 2012 lol He's a funny kid!

Good Morning Nancy and my IL family,
It sure is cold in the mornings as we also turn the heat down at night. We have a programmable thermostat though and it starts to kick on at 6am. I am always cold though....I was before WLS too..lol
Today I have to run to the bank and then I will be baking some cookies for the kids and I am going to try 2 different recipes for me too. I figure it will warm up the house and make it smell good! lol
Other than that, nothing going on. Tyler has decided that he's not going to do the conditioning for wrestling this week, it was just an optional thing and since he just finished football he's good with this physical state. I am glad because it gives me a week or two off from picking him up at school at 5:30pm..lol
As for the elections, yes I know exactly who I am voting for! I can't wait for this to be over though...lol

Oh Lucy sweetie pie!! Please don't be sad. I do want to get together with you. Tyler had a dermatology appt on the 24th and they changed his appt time to 2pm in Naperville. If it was for anything else other than his Accutane visit I would have changed the date. For the meds he's on, he has to go exactly every 30 days for bloodwork and an appointment.
When can we get together?? let's pick a date and time and do it!! I miss you and now they said the support group is cancelled this weekend...and I was gonna go, figures.
I have so much going on right now at home that is NOT good and need all the friends I can get. Please don't be upset with me. I love you!

Good morning Nancy and friends. Yes, I agree - I can't wait for the elections to be over. I am sick and tired of hearing the bantering between the candidates. The USA is in such a financial mess; it's going to take years to clean up what our current government did to all of us!
Cold, you say? Yes, I can't believe it! Yesterday, I caught a glimpse of snowflakes while driving home from work. Ughhh!!!
Today I'm going to a wake for a friend of me whose father passed away on Saturday. It's so sad because she lost her mother only 6 months ago. I'll be there to support her.
Work has been very busy even with my great employee. I'm so glad to have her!
