Hi everyone.  I'm a new member and thought I would introduce myself.  I'm Stephanie and I'm counting down the days until surgery which will be January 5, 2009.  I find all of the before and after pictures/stories very encouraging.

I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time here learning about whats ahead.

Hello and welcome

I see that you are going to the BMI center at Silver Cross hospital.  That's where I'm going.  I'm still going through my 6 month doctor supervised diet.  You should go to the support group there, it's the last Tuesday of the month at 6pm.

Make sure you join us on our daily roll call, so we can get to know you.

Welcome to the best OH board, everyone here is great and very helpful,
Nice to meet you.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!  I'm looking forward to learning a lot from each of you!

I'm excited that this will be last New Years I celebrate where I think, "Gee a whole year has gone by and if I had only stayed on a diet that entire time, I'd be thinner."  This is one resolution I will be able to keep.
