Sorry I didn't make roll call.  I have had a day!  My mom's bank can't find a deposit of $900.00.  I just love US Bank....NOT!!  They are always screwing things up, so Friday DH and I are gonna open a new account at another bank to pay mom's bills with.

The company that sits with mom once in a while is trying to say we need to tell them exactly what hours we need them.  When I go to my doctor appointments in Missouri, I never know exactly when I will get back.

If I wasn't losing my hair again, I would pull it out.....lol

Tomorrow will be better, won't it?....lol

Sorry to hear about your bank woes.  Part of my job is dealing with our bank at work.  Let me tell you Chase bank makes mistakes daily.  We get checks that aren't ours or our checks go to someone else.  I have even had them cash the same check TWICE.  I think the small home town banks are best.

What company sits for your mom?  That was my second job for 6 years.  I worked for Comfort Keepers.  I really did get close to some of my people.  I miss them and I find myself talking about them often.  A lot of times they just needed company.  They were loney and needed some companionship.  I mean where else can you get paid to sit and play Scrabble with someone.  It was a great job.

Crystal, do you have medical training at all or what do you need to work for Comfort Keepers??   Maybe I should look into something like that.  I love older people and enjoy spending time with them.

To work for Comfort Keepers you need no medical training  (although I did study to be a EMT).  Just the love of people.  Its a very flexible job, I worked only weekends.  You just go in and do some housekeeping.  Help the people with everyday tasks, like dressing.  Like I said alot of it is just visiting with them.  They love telling you about their lives.  One lady I took care of showed me all of her pictures.  She lived in Aurora and it was really something to see what the city used to look like.

Give them a call 630-892-9600 they are right on Galena ( I think).

I hate bank issues.  I had them alot when I had TCF, but I switched to National City and haven't had one problem since.
Things will look up Dee, I'm here if you want to talk!
Love ya!

I hear ya with the bank troubles, although ours turned out to be relatively painless in the end.
We bank at our local bank, and the one that I worked for for 5 years.  Their slogan is "we don't even HAVE an 800 number".  The stolen money has already been credited back to our account and Todd's new debit card is on its way.

I can kind of understand about the company wanting to know how long they need to be there.  If you have an appointment in Missouri, just tell them that you need the whole morning (or afternoon) and if you get home early, do something nice for yourself with the extra time.  You deserve it!

Yes, today will be a better day, I'm sure.

Tell someone that you love them!
