Hello again and happy new year!
Hello everyone! It's been quite a while since I have posted, probably since August or September. I am more of lurker and read the boards on a regular basis and feel like I know you all. As one of my new years resolutions, I am trying to be more active on this board because I know there is just so much support and great people here.
Here's a little bit of a recap of my life. I'm 39, with 4 kids and an awesome husband of 17 years. I had gastric on March 17th this year and I have lost a total of 100 pounds. I have passed my doctor's goal by 2 pounds but would really like to lose another 10 to 15 pounds for myself.
I have struggled along the way, had some great days and some really bummer days that made me question my decison to have the surgery. But I know these feelings are normal.
I'm looking forward to getting reaquainted (did I spell that right??) with all the great people here in Illinois. I wish you all many successes and a healthy and happy new year. See you on the board!!

How are you doing? Haven't seen you in quite awhile. Missed you at the December support group. It was a lot of fun. Congratulations on losing 100 pounds! The last time I saw you, you looked terrific! Hope to see you posting more. Happy New Year!
