Good morning Dave and Illinois,

It was a busy weekend.  My daughter went to turnabout so I was usy driving her and shelling out money.  She looked wonderful and had a good time.  I am finally trying to get back to the health club on a more regular basis.  I did the recumbent bike yesterday and did 5000 steps.  That was pretty good. I have just started doing weight training so I am working on getting into it more.

I hope everyone has a good week.  60 degrees tomorrow, and the days are getting longer.

Busy weekend.  My sister and her two boys (6 and 3.5) came down on Saturday afternoon, add my 3.5 year old and we had a busy night and Sunday morning.  DH made pancakes for everyone and I was super jealous that I couldn't have one!  But - on a good note I get to start having veggies today!  Yippie!

I am really excited for the weather to start warming up so I can get outside.  I haven't been excited to go outside and 'play' for years.

Monica, glad to hear that your van is working again.

I've not been on line because our phone line was out most of yesterday and early this morning. The winds are so high here and it's rainy. It has been a very disappointing vacation to say the least.

If I could, I would fly home today. But, the airlines charge too much to change a ticket, plus they rebook you a new ticket and it costs the same amount as if you buy another round trip ticket. So I am stuck here in the horrible weather until Saturday.

Lucy, sorry to hear that your weather is crummy out there. I did look at weather.com and it shows that it is to be sunny there for the rest of the week (through Friday). I hope you can have some good quality time with your mother and sister.

Good morning Chris. It's been so depressing here. Only day with some sun was the day I got here. We had very little time in the pool. The sun goes down here around 5 pm and doesn't come up until 7 am.

It's so cold too. 49 degrees right now with moderate rain and wind.

Thanks for the message. I know that I won't be coming here next year. Definitely a winter cruise somewhere HOT!

It just stinks that the one vacation I probably will be taking this year is a washout.

                    Well not much on the todo list aside from getting this tooth pull..  Weather is great here. The weekend is over thank GOD .... The kids had fun . Who would have thought it would cost almost  $100 to take 6 kids to the show????  One day closer to my next pre-op appointment ... whooo hoooo......... Anyway Gloria's yelling for a snack so I guess I will go ...Untill the next time may God always smile on ur paths......Cheroity

I don't have much to report.  Weekend was quiet and rather low key.  Today is just a normal work day.  Working both jobs, nothing exciting.

Good morning Dave and the rest of Illinois!

I had a long and very busy weekend at the hotel.  The kids had a great time swimming on Friday night while the adults played cards poolside.  After the pool closed, we went to the bar for a drink and it turned into a very long night.  I am not used to either staying up late, or alcohol, so I was not feeling very well on Saturday morning.  I would have been OK, but our neice was there and bought me a drink and I did not thin****il the next day that it was packed with sugar.  I was NOT amused.

I did get over it and we had a very nice dinner on Saturday of prime rib and lobster.  I will be having left overs today for lunch (and maybe tomorrow too!).

Yesterday, the kids had to work at the museum, so we did not have to pick them up until 4:30.  Todd and I went to see "Gran Torino" and it was EXCELLENT!  Old Clint still has it.  I was afraid it would be violent, but ir really was not.  It is more of a story about how Clint gets a second chance to make a difference in someone's life.  I enjoyed it.

After getting home, it was time to unpack and put things away.  Today, thinkgs are back to normal.

I am praying and keeping all that need it in my thoughts.  I wish you all better days.
