FROSTY TUESDAY ROLL CALL
Good morning Dave and Illinois!
Dave glad to hear the car you bought is in good shape. If it's that fast maybe you should drive it and not your son. My youngest son had a thing for speeding. After many tickets and higher insurance premiums that he had to pay he has learned his lesson.
I slept like crap last night. I was awake listening to the coyotes howling and had a hard time falling back to sleep. I'm having some under the belly skin issues and it hurts. I can't get into the dermatologist until the 4th. I took some pictures just in case there is nothing there when I see her.
Hope those of you who are sick start to feel better soon.
Hope those of you missing a loved one start to heal soon.
Hope those of you looking for employment find a job soon.
Hope those of you waiting for surgery get news soon and the time passes quickly while waiting for surgery.
Hope those who just had surgery are well on their way to recovery.

Good morning Dave and the rest of Illinois!
I am working today and tomorrow, but have decided to take all of Thursday off to support Todd. He was asked last night to be a pall bearer to his friend's funeral, and I want to be as helpful as possible.
Not too much else going on for me. I got the taxes filed last night and we have "A Day in Rock City" committee meeting tonight. This year, "A Day in Rock City is scheduled for July 25 and it is the town's 150th anniversary, so mark you calendars NOW!
I am keeping you all in my thoughts and am very grateful to those of you who are thinking of us as we go through this difficult week.
Please tell someone that you love them today and every day!

Good Morning IL and Happy Mardi Gras!
I am new to your roll call board but thought I would say Hi and wish everyone a happy Tuesday! Today was weigh in day and I lost 2 pounds from last week so that is a plus (not bad considering it is TOM)!
I have a Mardi Gras party to go to tonight and I too am in my Mardi Gras Purple and wearing my Mardi Gras charm bracelet and I have beads and a mask to wear tonight but not to work of course! My mom's side of the family is from New Orleans so this is in my roots!

Good Morning -
I'm really tired.. ended up calling and telling work I would be in around 9:30 so I could sleep a bit longer. I have a feeling something is not right again with the ole bod. I thought the thyroid meds had helped but I'm starting to feel really tired again. I can't afford to have more blood work done right now. The great insurance I have left me with a balance of $1100. from the last round. I'm scared to find out what this foot surgery will cost me in the end.
Oh well, I'm still chuggin along.

I am newer on here and am in day 4 of my liduid pre-op diet. I am having surgery next Tues and am doing the best I can even though I am hungry. I have not eaten anything I shouldn't which I am proud of. I am keep telling myself not to grab something as this is a habit that will take time to break I think. Otherwise I am looking forward to my surgery on Tues!
I went with my youngest daughter to get a pedicure this morning, gotta have pretty toes for surgery! She got her nails painted too!
Not much else just work tonight, I work overnight at our hospital here.

I'm new to the Illinois Board and new to posting on the daily roll call.
I had RNY surgery 3 weeks ago, on February 4th and am easing back to work slowly, working only 2 - 3 days a week for the next few weeks. I'm feeling some discomfort and nausea from wearing work slacks that hug the waist. Can't wait to get home and put on the sweats. I live in South Elgin and plan to attend the get-together on March 6th. Thanks for coordinating it.

Hi,
Over the past few days I have seen Dr. Wallace, had an Upper GI, saw the gastroenterologist and now I am scheduled for an endoscopy for next Thursday. OH MY.
Plus they are planning on discharging Noah tomorrow as along as everything stays the same as it has been. OH MY again.
I am still having the pain in my stomach on and off, sometimes it goes away, sometimes it is there. The UGI is normal, so no obstruction, which I already knew. WOw, I forgot how awful that gastrographin tastes! YUK!!!!
We will see how the endopscopy goes, I am not looking forward to being put to sleep again, but I also do NOT want to be awake for it either. Hopefully they will come up with an answer that is easily fixable.
I am off to the hospital for a meeting with Noah, and to see if the discharge plans still stand.
