Hi All.

I heard today is supposed to be an OK day. I think around 45 today. Woo Hoo, I'm going swimming!

I can't wait until it gets up to the 60's.

I have a feeling this summer is going from 40's to the 90's with no spring for us to enjoy.

Nothing new today.

Work, school, work, school. I am doing some observation time in a Middle school math class today.

Last night I made a pork roast. (Actually I had a girlfriend come over and make it for me) (Ok I cheated) (Hey, I am a busy guy) But it was excellent. I took the meat out and dumpped a couple cans of carrots, green beans, corn, etc.. in the meat-juice. (It had potatoes in it.) Its called broth right? and made some reallllllllly good soup. Super Garlic-ie. It is yummy.
It was so good, I ate too much and ended up throwing up all evening. So I went to bed about 7:30.  I have a bunch left over, so I can get sick again tonight.

Anyway, I hope eveyone has a good day.

Dave

Good morning Dave and all IL,

Sorry to hear you got sick after your tasty meal!  Hopefully it was worth it.  Nothing new with me today, just work, take Jack to soccer practice and home.  Same old thing.

Have a great day!

Hey Dave, I just went in on the pizza place's website and maybe they have not updated their site recently but with the Summit St location it says "coming soon" - are they in fact open or will be by March 7th? I might have missed another post that talks about the place.

I am up and at 'em, was real tired yesterday but got through the day. I have almost finished my fleece vest. I just have the zipper to sew and then it is done. Going into work to finish some last minute things before the other girl gets in that is the department's little tattle tale and goes running off to the supervisor complaining that Kathy and I do not do anything . . . . . .

Pretty cool at work that I have been expanding my horizons and learning a bunch of things in Microsoft Word, like creating templates, managing bulleted lists. I have used bullets before but now I can "control" them.

I got the grow light up in the basement yesterday with my Dave's help. Just need to wait a week or so before starting the seeds.

 Good Morning Dave and Illinois

Happy Hump Day!

At least we are on the downside of this week.  I will be glad to see it over.  So will my pocketbook!

I have court today.  Have no idea how much that will cost me.  Then I have an appointment with my PCP.

Yesterday I had my final PT session.  I really feel good about the sessions.  I have learned a variety of exercises to help me.  So now I can do them on my own.  I really think they are starting to make a difference.  I realized yesterday that I am due for knee shots in 2 weeks and usually my knees start screaming a good 6 weeks before the shots are due.  So  that is a big improvement.

The furnace gets installed tomorrow.  Now they are urging me to do the air conditioner at the same time.  It is the same age and I had problems with it last summer so I know its time is limited as well.  Decisions, decisions, decisions.  I was planning to pave my driveway this year now I am not so sure.

It's scary to spend this kind of money in such a shaky economy.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Nancy,

Replace them at the same time.  You usually get a discount instead of doing it one at a time.  We found that out last year.

I know that it is cheaper to do it that way.  I am leaning that way.  I told them to go ahead and do the a coil while they are doing the furnace and will do the condenser unit later this spring.  It is just that it is a huge chunk of money right now.

I know, and things keep going up, it is getting scary.  Wonder if I could win the lotto?  I would have to buy tickets first...lol

I always say the same thing -- I want to win the lottery but the problem is I dont play.  I think there is a problem with this plan.

Nancy -
My neighbor owns a HVAC company and gave us a really good deal on our furnace last January when ours bit the dust.  He was telling me that my AC is old and if it requires a freon charge it will have to be replaced because they are doing away with this type of freon in 2009.  New AC are different and require different freon and by law they will not be repairing just replacing.  If you can swing it, I would just go ahead and replace it.  I know it's an unexpected expense but like Dee said, you will probably get a nice break in price.

Good luck today w/ your court.
