Thursday Roll Call
I'm so frustrated with my medical insurance. It just seems like such a hassle to go to the doctor or have lab work done. I thought I was having a melt down last night trying to talk to United Health Care to determine where I should go in network to have another EKG and blood work. I've always had my blood work done at Central Dupage Hospital but back in Oct I got socked with a $3000. bill and my portion was between $1000 and $1100 I can't remember the exact amount. Anyhow, I will not be going to CDH for blood work.
So, I'm a bit concerned about my foot surgery. How much how of pocket expense will I have???
Oh well, I guess I'm fortunate to have some coverage even if it's crap. LOL
Enough of that. Not much else going on.

Not much going on here. I had to sign two acknowledgements that I am being pinked slipped yesterday. The first one had the wrong date on it.
My DH has been going through closets and tossing things and rearranging the closets. I guess he is going stir crazy being home with no work.
He likes to throw things away that I can't understand. But, I know I have a pack-rat mentality. For example, he threw away an unopend package of PEDS. I tucked them into my gym bag, as I could use them in the summer.

It is quite foggy outside so it makes me feel even better about not having to go out. I plan to take it easy today. I overdid it a bit yesterday but my new haircut and color look great. It made me feel much better so it was worth it. Just lounging on the couch right now with my yellow lab curled up next to me. I do have some homework that is due next week so I will try to get to it today.

Happy birthday Chris....mine was earlier this month and was not celebrated with dread. I am learning to enjoy being in my 40's.
I am enjoying my break from school, it is nice not being under the pressure of getting my assignments done. But, I am trying to get things caught up that always seem to get put on the back burner. Due to the economic conditions here at work, I am picking up some work through a local valet company parking cars so there is some extra cash. But, there is not enough work so I do not know if it will make a difference or not.
I too am battling a sinus/cold thing. My body aches, my throat is irritated but no fever.
Well, I better get back to work as I have exchange rates and journal entry rollforwards to get accomplished. The joys of working in accounting/finance.

I got a call around 7:00am to say that the kids won't be coming today. They are all sick. So I have a million things to do today, but I'm feeling very relaxed and lazy now so I don't know what I will do for the day. Probably knitt and work on some PTO stuff.
I still need to pick up the starter kit for flowers. Madison and I are going to do that. Then I will let her pick out some other flower seeds to plant in my back perenial gardens.
Today I'm thankful for a beautiful healthy family, my husband that is able to provide so well for us and for the school system that helps our kids grow each day!
