Good Morning to everyone in this great land of Lincoln.

One day closer to the weekend and hopefully some better weather. I will admit that I am ready to get out and get my hands in the dirt. My baby seedlings are growing and growing down under the grow light. Just about ready to start some other seeds that you only need about 6 weeks before the last frost, but that is a couple weeks off.

Off to work here for me in a while, dentist apt after then wait for Dave's call to pick him up at the airport around 8pm.

Well, I have been trying to get on here and say hi.

Its spring break, so I have been working a lot more hours.

12 Degrees and headed down here.

I have been cold as heck the last couple days. (I actually don't know if heck is cold or not, but I have been cold.)

Went out to an Irish Pub last night. I didn't drink (actually I didn't before my surgery either) But I had some Irish Egg Rolls. They had cheese, cabbage, and corned beef wrapped in an egg roll shell. I tried like crazy to eat them, but couldn't. I ended up getting sick. Si I ate about 3-4 pea sized pieces of beef.

Well I gotta go to work.

Have a good day, stay warm.

Dave, 'morning to you. Sounds like the Irish egg roll was possibly a little too greasy. I had never heard of them or maybe the pub made them up. Traditional egg rolls and me do not get along sometimes, too heavy.

Hello everyone

I survived so far.  I'm not hungry yet.  But yesterday I was miserable, I was hungry, tired and my head was pounding.  I just went home and "ate" dinner and laid down and read.  Of course the book I'm reading was so good I didn't get to bed till 12:30!!!  When you love a book that much I'm alaways a little sad when I'm done reading it.  I just want the book to go on forever.

Well wish me luck today.  Hopefully I will feel better today.  Oh and by the way guys the broth with seasoning tasted pretty good, Thanks.

Have a good day.

Sorry, to hear about the pounding head. What do you think it was from? Does your doctor require you to give up caffeine? I always get a pounder when I give up caffeine cold turkey.

Keep up the good work.

It probably was from the lack of caffeine.

Good Morning Christine and  the whole frozen state of Illinois.

I normally do not have any problems with the time change, but for some reason this waking up in the dark is killing me. Plus, I am going to bed a bit earlier. Oh well, I am sure I will adjust.

Dave, I can't do corn ed beef at all. But then, beef in general doesn't like me.

Today I need to play Merry Maid around here. I have some stuff I have to get into to. Its also clean out the refrig. night. So, leftovers it is for supper.

Stay warm and safe.

Huggers,

Lisa

Lisa, I am usually one that has a problem with the spring forward time change but did not this year. Hope you are up and "running like a bunny" again soon.

Good morning everyone,

I am at work early supervising a homework assistance plan for the hour before school.  Students who do not complete work have to come in before or after school to complete it.  It has helped reduce the outstanding work.

I finally made an appt. with my PCP. I'm havig blood drawn tomorrow and see him next week.  I was supposed to go in at the end of January, but time has slipped away.

Stay warm everyone and have a good day.

I needed that room when I was in school. I was a horrible student and a bad procrastinator - I battle it still today, the procrastination that is.
