 Good Afternoon Illinois Friends

I am checking in from sick bay.  I came home after 3 hours of work yesterday and ended up sleeping 4 hours in the afternoon!  I managed to get a nasty cold or flu.  I am off today and tomorrow on leave without pay so I can get lots of rest.  

  Other than that, not much going on here.  

Happy birthday Jennifer!  I hope you have a great day tomorrow!  Crystal, hang in there!  I found that hot tea would take the edge off when I got hungry.

As for me just doing stuff around the house. Then tonight going to dinner and the Nickelback/Seether concert with one of my very best friends.  We have been looking forward to this for some time.  She has never been to a concert, so this will be fun.

I hope you enjoyed the concert.  Wait until I tell David!!!!  He wants to go to see that concert, but it is not in his (or my) budget at the moment, let alone on a school night.  That is a bout all I have been hearing out of him though.

If we hadn't bought the tickets some time ago I wouldn't of been able to budget it either.  Not with my hubby going to be out a job either before or by June.  Tell David it was awesome so totally awesome.  I didnt realize that Saving Abel was there also, so we seen Saving Abel, Seether and Nickelback.  Nickelback put on the best pyro and light show that I had seen since a Rush concert I had been to back in the 80's.  Rush still wins hands down for the best lazer show ever.
I had thought about taking my son, but when we calendared it this concert landed on mid-terms.  He doesnt know it yet, but I'm taking him to see Paramore/No Doubt in July, this will be his birthday present.  ANyhow I hadnt been to a concert for along long time, and my friend Betty was in awe, it was funny watching her.

Better late than never... I volunteered today at the hospital for a couple of hours I will go in again tomorrow I don't normaly go in on Friday's but they need me. It was chilly today I didn't like that very much... I am SO ready for Spring I feel like a little kid with Spring Fever! We are going to visit Serenity over Easter Weekend I made reservations at the hotel we stay at up there. I am excited about this visit. Saturday we are having the in-laws for Corned beef and cabbage and little red potatoes... Now it's time for me to tuck the kidos in bed I hope everyone had a great day... Be blessed Jenn
