Friday Roll Call

Good Morning one and all.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is still chilly willy out there, but there is the promise of spring as I had seen green blades of grass. Finally, "Lake Bennett" is receding in our backyard. Hope all tha****er does not kill the grass. I just looked at the weather and it supposed to be sunny all day, WOOHOO!

Anything new in your world today  I have my guy home, he said the plane was jammed and believes he got the last seat. United is up to their tricks again and over sold the plane, he is sure some were bumped.

The wearing of the Kelly Green is just around the corner. I have my corned beef and veggies ready to make for next week. Always loved boiled dinners, fond memories from when I was a kid, that along with pot roast and stew. I also do not have to work with the tattle tale next week as she will be out all week. Another WOOHOO.

Hello everyone

Yesterday was a good day.  Surprisingly, I'm used to this diet.  I didn't think that was possible but its true.  I don't really feel hungry anymore.  Yesterday my stomach grumbled once and stopped.  Thanks god for that.  OH and I only have 11 days till my surgery!!! 

Also, it's Friday!!!!  I have a doctor appointment today (my final surgeon consult) so I will have a half day today!!!. I have been sucked into the whole Twilight thing.  I love and I mean LOVE the books so far.  I read the first book in two nights (and its around 500 pages) so now I'm starting the second book.  The exciting thing is my friend and I are going to see Twilight today!!!  I'm so looking forward to this.  OK enough obsessing about Twilight.

Tomorrow I have to go have blood work done.

I love to read or should I say used to love to read. I hardly have time to read my Good Housekeeping mag.

 I know that feeling, I have a pile of magazines that I need to catch up on, but have no time to just sit and read them! 

I still have the majority of my GH mags from when Jon and Kate were on the cover last Oct I think!!

Good morning Illinoisans!

We are up early today and getting ready for an adventure. We will let you know about it later.

I certainly am looking forward to the OH event in Chicago. It's going to be a treat and I hope everyone can go. We should have a meeting place and time so we meet other Illinoisans we don't know yet. Maybe when the whole schedule comes out we can pick a time.

GM Connie, Lucy would be the one to ask about times, places  and schedule at the event. She went to LA last year. Of course this is a different venue than where she went. It is in the heart of a large hotel area on River Road in Rosemont. I am more than sure that there will be places inside the hotel to meet like the lobby, lounges snack bars. . .

Good morning to all! I do not have to work today. Unless having grand kids is work. We do not have school today. Teachers need a day off had parent teacher conferences for the last 2 nights,  so they get the day off.

 I am driving doen to Effingham to take DH his laundry back. My daughter said she will come home earliy to keep the kids so I don't have them with me!!  They wanted to go but this way I can take my sweet time getting back home!
