Friday Roll Call
Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!
I am working today, then rumor has it that Todd is taking me out to dinner---he won dinner for 2 on the radio a few weeks back and it expires Sunday.
It looks like we are both going to go to Chicago for the party. I am excited. I went to one in October and my brother's friends are all very nice and I want Todd to meet them. We will be careful driving in and out, and will either ride with him or cab it while in town.
We finished watching "Anna" last night and I will take it back today and pick up "The King & I". Liv is listening to the original book on tape and I am reading it. It is interesting, but a bit plodding.
The kids are going to the school's variety show tonight, and then David is staying for the dance afterwards.

Good Morning Illinois.
At least the sun is out. We can assume that spring will come eventually. My daffidils are about 3 inches out of the ground, maybe they know something we don't.
Today is errands and finish cleaning day. I sent in my taxes last night so that chore is done. DH is home today, he has a list for me to do too.
I sweare, the next time he has a rental empty, I will hire everything done. Now he is driving me nuts with trying to fini****
Monica, it seems like you are going nuts today too. But really, those are the best days to have. You are busy and active.

I love that the sun is out again today! It makes me want to move and do things! I have a TON of things to do today too. I have to bake cupcakes, make 2 pies, make cookies, not to mention dust the entire house and do other cleaning.
Tomorrow we are having a party here for Tyler's 15th, my niece's 8th and our dad's 75th birthdays!! They all fall within 2 weeks of each other so we just combine them. Makes life easier for everyone.
Tyler actual birthday is on St Patty's Day, so that night we'll be meeting my ex, his wife and the baby for dinner. We've started doing it together because the kids really enjoy it. we don't mind, we get along pretty good now so that helps as well.
Well I need to get my butt moving...have a wonderful, warm and safe day today!

Good morning Illinois-
Not much going on for me today! My youngest has preschool this morning. Then maybe out to lunch with her and my mom for my birthday. I can eat creamed soups that are strained now so I am looking forward to a lunch at Panera!
Other than that not sure what else today will bring!
Relaxing and still getting better each day, so life is good!

Good morning all.
Been a bit since I posted, but I have been sick with the cold/sinus infection thing going around. It has been fun...NOT!
My nephew is home from the hospital. He is doing so much better. I don't think I could of made it if we had lost him too. They are still trying to figure out what kind of infection it was, and why it hit the lung.
I would love to make hubby corned beef and cabbage, but I have no idea how to make it. Can you believe that?...lol Guess I need to look through the recipes.
Well, family has shown it's true colors. Even though taking care of mother was a true pleasure, she helped me come into this world, and I helped her leave it with dignity. The family gave me 200.00 a month for taking care of her. Since her death I have been looking for a job, which means I can't keep my sister's grandchildren anymore, for which I get paid nothing. My sister is mad and won't talk to me. I used my gas taking them back and forth to school, plus kept the other 2 and fed them lunch, which was out of my money. What do you all think?
