Wednesday Roll Call
Good morning-
I am planning on not doing too much today! Just hanging out with Cassie, my 5 year old. I need to go to Walgreens and take Cassie to preschool, but that is about it.
I am told my pain is muscular pain near my largest incision. They said it is where all the biggest instruments went in and that is why I am having pain over there. I can deal with that! They said the pain can be severe and to not worry unless I had some other symptoms besides pain. Whoo I am glad!
Hope everyone else has a great Hump Day!

Good morning,
I am late this morning because I had a doctor aapt. at 7 AM. The doctor spent a lot of time going over my blood results. We had been in a cycle of seeing him and then getting blood. Getting blood and then seeing him is much better. He took about 40 minutes with me which I appreciated.
I am working on tying up loose ends and getting ready for Washington. I am getting to the health club the next three days to continue on the treadmill doing a steep incline. This helps me get ready for walking at Arlington cemetery.
I'm glad to hear people are on the right track whether getting ready for surgery or dealing with the day to day. When I get back from my trip I plan on starting the food journal. I need to come to terms with my poor eating and take a good, long hard look at my habits.
Have a great day everyone.

I am in nothing really has to be done today mode. Some bills need paying but I do not want to do that yet. I need to call my surgeon and ask if there is a seminar I need to attend and what all else the surgeon will want done in terms of psych and pre-op testing of any kind. Maybe one last call to my HMO coordinator at my PCP office to make sure I have to go to Rush and Kane or others closer have not been approved by my group. I am not sure I want to do that today though. I really, really, really do not want to go to Rush. Maybe this a Jonah thing. Maybe this afternoon I will be energized to do something. Likely the bills.
I was up early today. I ended up taking 1/2 a sick day. I spent some time at the outlet mall in Aurora shopping at the Leggs, Hanes, Bali store. They have a sale going with bras-buy two get one free. Their starting out prices was comparable to Kohl's sale prices. I also stopped at the Oswego Kohl's and the Yorkville Target. I didn't buy anything at either of those two stores.
Not much else happening.
I hope you are well.
