Good morning Christine and the rest of IL, I am up and ready early today I am going to pick up my cousin at 8:30 and we are off to the Good will Store, today is 1/2 price on all the clothes and I need new jeans and shorts for the summer,
I called my Ins comp yesterday about having my arms done and they said that I should now some thing by the 31Th , I sure hope they approve it this time, I just don't know what I will do if they don't.
Jim is going in for a colon scope today at 2  I hope that everything is OK with that,
so that is my day in a nut shell
Crystal I know how you are feeling I was the same way, only I had one week to get ready as mine came up very fast, 
 Dee hope you get the job, I am going to start  job hunting my self, I feel I am ready now to go back to work, I just don't know what I want to do, I have always love nursing so maybe I will start there,

Good morning Illinois!

Wednesday night we had a sleepover. Ava, Vince and Hayden spent the night with us. Took them home yesterday. They will be back on Saturday since my daughter and her husband are going to a wedding. They had fun playing with Bella. 

Started spring cleaning and am making progress. Today I need to do some laundry, clean the house and make a quick run to the grocery store.

Crystal- Tuesday's the big day! Not too long now and you will join the rest of us losers.

Good morning Christine and IL friends!

Wow, another day down and in the books. YAY!!! It's by no means - clear sailing for me. I still have to be very conscious of my habits and why am doing what I am doing. But I am learning. That's what counts.

I'm happy that Friday is here. Busy all the way around.

I am so thankful for my supportive friends here. You've all been an inspiration to me. Even though I am almost 4 years out, I have so much to learn. This is something I have to be on top of for the rest of my life - as everyone says it is a lifestyle change. For you new or soon to be post-ops, heed this  message. Once you lose all your weight, you still can gain and gain big time. I am such a person. The rush of losing weight in the beginning is nothing but the best  feeling in the world. But, when you get around the 2 year mark, it slows way down and you're fighting to lose anything. Adding unneeded snacks and a little here and there can result in big weight gain and depression. It's so hard to get out of the sinking hole. That is what I am dealing with now.

I am positive that I will get back to goal again. Only now. it's more on me than my tools.

Good Morning Christine & IL -

I posted a few minutes ago but it looks like it did not go thru..  Odd.
So, my full time job right now is to find a full time job...  that is what Calvin has explained.
I did work at Outback last night and I'm paying the price right now.  I think it was way too soon and my body is telling me so.  I had spasms in both legs all night and still have a knot in my left calf.  It is really killing me.  I'll keep my feel elevated as much as possible today.  I'm hoping to get this cast off next Wed when I go in for another check up.

I do want to thank you all for your hugs, prayers and support yesterday.  I tell ya, I could not ask for a better support system.  You are my rock.

Good morning Christine and everyone-

Well yesterday me and my daughter ended up hanging out at a neighbors most of the afternoon which was nice!  I also cleaned out my daughters room, they share a bedroom, man are they packrats. 

Today I take my youngest to preschool and then I need to go get my sister in law who is turning 30 tomorrow a birthday present.  We are going to my dad's house tomorrow to celebrate my birthday and hers.

I asked for another week off at work.  I am still dealing with the pain in my side that they said is muscular from the surgery instruments.  It hurts when I get up and down from sitting, or sit for a long time.  My boss was not thrilled but I work at our hospital here and I have to be cleared by Assoc Health to go back to work and they said they would not clear me anyway!!!  

Lucy-I will remember what you said about us newbies, I am at the beginning and although the weight is suppose to pour off, it does not seem to be doing that for me this past week.  My nurse said it is ok.  I am recording my info at the daily plate too so at least I can show that to them at my next appt!

Crystal-  You are almost there.  I will be 3 weeks out when you have your surgery!  I was the same way as you, I stocked up and we cleaned everything!  It was nice coming home to a clean house!!!

ChristineP and Dee-  I will keep you in my thoughts for the job front!

Lots of 'new' clothes buying talk from everyone!  I went to Fashion Bug last night, they have some $6 rounders and got three pair of pants!  Plus they have free shipping right now...

I am on call this weekend so I won't be going far.  Pray that there are no calls for me!

Well.....I did not get to see the movie last night as I was called to duty by the Boy Scouts.  They needed me to attend 2 boys' Board of Reveiw so that they could advance in rank.  By the time I got home, it was too late and Liv was up to her armpits in cupcakes since she had 2 orders to fill.  Now I need to decide if it is worth the late fee at the library to keep it over the weekend, or if I should return it than put another hold on it to get it back.  I can't renew it because someone else has a hold on it now and it waiting for it.  Decisions, decisions.......

Todd is going to the Raptors tonight and David is staying with a friend, so it will just be Liv and I.  We have been craving the chicken at Pizza Ranch, so we may go over there.  I am hoping that Amber and Riley can meet us, but we will see.

We have two roofers coming tomorrow to give estimates.  We want to get 2 more, then references so that we can decide.  MORE decisions.

I hope Monica and Dee feel better soon and am SOOOO sorry to hear about Christina's position being eliminated.  You are all in my thoughts along with everyone else here on the board.  Still no word from "beyondthebeauty"?

Looks like beyondbeauty decided not to have surgery after all.  Glad she is ok.
