Information Session

I'm attending an information session on Thursday in Herrin, IL.  First of all, is there anyone here from Southern Illinois? 

Secondly, what should I expect at this session?  Will the process get rolling right then, or will that have to wait for a consultation?

You will get lots of information. They will explain what the different programs are, and tell you what you need to do beforeyou can even see the Dr.

FYI: Do you know what the criteria is with your insurance co? Make sure your insurance will pay  for the Dr of your choice.

There are some from Southern Illinois on this board. I grew up there, but married and moved away.

Thanks for your reply!  No, I don't know what the criteria is.  I have Family Care, which is pretty much the same thing as Medicaid.  Dr. Argotte from Lourdes in Paducah is here now, so that's who I will be seeing if insurance will cover it.

If anybody knows what Family Care/Medicaid  requires, could you share?  Thanks!
