Sunday Roll Call
Good morning Illinois. Brrrrr this morning and my back yard is filled up like a lake again. It was good to see Paul out playing with the rest of us again and spreading around some male testosterone into the mix. Dave needs to come out and play also.
We got out all that we set out to do yesterday. Today we still plan on going to the Loop to Willow Chicago. First we will check at the station and see if the train is real full - we will not go. The Shamrock Shuffle foot race is going on and the trains are usually loaded with people. The weather might affect it.

Good morning,
I am headed to the metra station in Aurora this morning to drop off my son who is a freshman at the Univ. of Iowa. On the 22nd he headed back to Iowa from spring break and realized he lost his wallet with his drivers license. Friends went out to visit him and he decided to come home for the weekend so he could replace his license. What he didn't realize is that the bus he usually takes home after breaks was not running this weekend because of not a lot of interest. he has to take Greyhound and because he was not the card holder on the credit card, there is an $18 gift fee.
We went to the police stattion and filled out a report. When we went to the DMV they said he needed something with his signature which he did not have. We went to the bank to see if he could get his signature notarized from his baank account and were told he needs a license for that. She mentioned a passport whic luckily he has. We then went very early yesterday to Libertyville to get him a new license. I am having him make a couple of copies to have. I was at dinner with my sister last night and my niece who is a freshman at Indiana just lost hers recently somewhere between Indiana where she took a plane to Denver. They had a copy or she would not have been able to get on the plane for the return trip.
Sorry for the long rant, but I do feel better.

Hello everyone
I'm still feeling dizzy and light headed a couple of times during the day. I'm not sure why. I haven't taken any vicodin for almost 48 hours now. So I'm feeling a little sore. It's not bad at all. The good news is I've been off my blood pressure meds for two days now and I checked my blood pressure and it was 119/78 !!!! MY BP IS NORMAL AGAIN!!!! More good news thanks to this post opp diet I have lost 8 pounds in 5 days!!!! WOOHOO!!! The wild ride has begun!!!
Later today (depending on weather) I'm going to venture out to Walgreens. It will be my first outing. I chose Walgreens because it's only 3 blocks from my house and its a small store.
It never snowed here. But it looks like its icy outside. I think icy is worse than snowy. Have a great day.

I was planning on church today, but woke up with a massive headache. I am thinking I might take some tylenol and lay back down. Nothing else going on today, staying inside, and staying warm.

The geese are even complaining this morning. DW says it is the wives who should have stoped for directions.
My tv is not working. I do not know if it is just us or if all of our cable is out. Sometimes we push the wrong button on the remote but I have done our normal resets for that and I still have no tv channels. There we go. There is the morning news. And there is some preaching so I should be able to find the Crystal Cathedral in a few minutes.
Our complexes plows are out this morning and hopefully by the time we go to Willow the three villages will have been out as well or the four wheelers will have been out to make some good paths.

We have about 1 inch of the white stuff on the ground, after about 1 inch of rain yesterday. For everyone who is going out, drive carefully.
I spent a real unproductive day yesterday. I just couldn't get in the right frame of mind to do anything. I did make a pot of soup, but that was it, Today, I will get some things done so I can start the work week with a bang.
