Good snowy morning Illinois!  Hopefully this will be the last snowy blast before spring really arrives. It will slowly be getting warmer next week.

Had a wonderful visit with Jackie and Erin over lunch yesterday. I'm so glad we were able to get together and plan to do it again in the near future. Erin was like my other daughter years ago and I felt like nothing has changed. She has become a very mature woman. Her mother would be proud!

Not much planned for today...maybe a few errands.

If your going out today...keep safe and have a wonderful day!

Good morning all,
Yes we got a couple of inches of snow here this morning also. My puppy didn't know what to do about going out in it again. I wonder what they really think when they see snow... ?  lol... We went to Church last night because we were going to get snow , but i still have to get out and go to my church classes this morning.
I have been on a stall for 4 weeks now, i'm 6 months out and not ready to stop losing yet !
Every one stay warm today and have a good day.

 Good Morning Everyone!

Well we got a nice icy wet snow last night.  Looks to be about 3 - 4 inches.  When I went out to feed my outdoor cat, I wasnt evening sinking into the snow.  I wonder what animals think of the weather.  They have no idea of what is predicted.  They are just outside and have to deal with whatever is thrown at them.  I feel sorry for them.

One of my inside cats has a tumor that has come back in his ear.  I discovered it yesterday.  That means more surgery for him.  He will not be a happy camper.  But this time, it wont take a year to diagnose like it did the last time.  I will call tomorrow and schedule surgery for him.  He gets miserable with these.

Needless to say, I am not going anywhere today.  This is a nice stay inside and do laundry day.
Weather like this may be pretty but is still a 4 letter word in my book.  Hope it melts soon.

Have a good day!

I have been wondering what  Willow Chicago is, is it a store or what?  I hope you enjoyed the day.

Norma Sweetie, Willow Chicago is Willow Creek Communitity Chuch's (WCCC) downtown campus or better known as our Chicago Regional. Willow Chicago meets in the Auditorim Theater each Sunday at 0945am.  WCCC has several regionals with them being Chicago, North Shore, Wheaton, South Barrington and McHenry CO. We also have a Spanish speaking congregation( Casa De Luz) that meets on the main campus in S. Barrington weekly on Sundays. Hope that helps. http://www.willowcreek.org/MiniSite/default.asp This shows a list of all the regionals etc. All of the regionals and main campus in S Barrington proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and His saving grace for our lives.

ps, yes we enjoyed the day though the sidewalks and gutters were not that great. I had to stop and buy plastic bags to keep my feet dry and some new dry socks. I should have listened to the Holy Spirit who tapped my shoulder to put plastic bags on after my socks. Oh well.  We got a lot of walking in then took the train home afterwards.

How wonderful, that's quite a trip, you must have to do alot of scheduling to get there. It sure looks like you have huge attendance. We belong to a simple village church where everyone knows each other, it's more intimate but we probably miss out on the variety of speakers and events that could broaden our ideas but it's good to be a part of a small extended church family.   I had googled The Willows and found a store that seemed somewhat like a Ikea, on Damien.

Well, the trip does not take that much planning as we just hop on Metra and down we go, then we walk the 1/2 mile plus over to Congress and Michigan Ave. We do not have any kids so we just come and go when we want to. Dave and I like to refer to Willow Creek as a "small country church in South Barrington" We really are many small groups with in a larger church audience. Have your church leaders consider becoming part of The Willow Creek Association. This is an organization that shares ideas and has materials for the local church to reach out to the unchurched.
