Good morning all!!   I guess very little Mr Sun today. Mostly Sunny  I have a few things on the agenda today afterwork. I need to get all my supplements and meds in their little containers to take with, get my dress and casual shoes out and pack and organize the remainer of things to put in the bags.

What is going on in your world?

Hope we do not get too much of this later on today Thunder

Hello everyone

I have a 1/2 at work today, because I'm going to a class at my surgeon's office.  So that's always exciting.  Not to mention my boss hasn't been here for 2 days, so another plus.  i like my boss don't get me wrong but when she's here she's constantly calling me to her office and I don't get much done.

Yesterday I walked again.  At work we have this wonderful walking path that goes around a man-made pond.  It's actually very nice so on break and lunch we went walking.  I was planning to walk again when I got home but I had a migraine.  I don't get them that often and I have medicine for it, but of course I left them at home.  So I had to suffer the rest of the day.

I am sad because for the first time ever my daughter won't be with me on Mother's Day and neither will my mom.  So it will be a sad depressing day, all by myself.

On Facebook I have gotten completely obsessed with Mafia Wars.  I love that game.

Have a nice gloomy day.

Hey Crystal!
Spoil yourself on Sunday, you deserve it!
My "little" kids are both working at the museum on Sunday afternoon and I am not sure if I will see Amber.  This is the first year in a long time that David's birthday did not fall on Mother's Day as I usually have to give the day up to him.
Hopefully, I will get to sleep in a bit and that will be my celebration.

Good Morning All!

Sunday was my one year anniversary of my surgery and I was a little depressed that I hadn't reached my goal.  I still have about 15 pounds to go, but fear I may be stuck forever.  I eat right, excersize and still watch my weight stay the same.  I'm not terribly upset with my size, but I just want to make the goal.  In other news, I finally finished the design for the new brochure for my business.  I will send it off to the printer later today.  It is focused on corporate chair massage since that is the main focus of the business.  The private massage will be handled by word of mouth and the website for now.  We also ordered the magnets yesterday so it looks like the marketing is off and running.  I'm still looking for a salesperson to actually contact perspective companies for events.  I was done with my anatomy final very early last night, so I came home and gave Liz a full massage.  She said it was much better than any I had given her in the past.  Tonight I have another final and then tomorrow is an open house at the school.  So I'm just enjoying the easy week.  I hope everybody stays dry and has a great day!

Hi Paul!
Just a quick note to tell you CONGRATULATIONS on your surgiversary and how far you have come!
You KNOW that I can relate to the "stuck" feeling, but we have to remember the HEALTHY way we live now and be thankful for how far we have come.

You are doing great and I am very proud of you, both for your weight loss journey and your new business!

Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!

Christine, can you remind me of where you are going?  I seem to have fogotten........

I am working today, then home for dinner and another go-around with the school board's "special committee" about the marching band.  I am really not up for fighting this losing battle, but I guess I need to be supportive.

At the funeral last night, we learned that Todd's school friend had committed suicide.  We are really bummed.......we can't understand how someone could do that and inflict the pain of this on those left behind.  He had a 14 year old son that was "his life" and he was a coach for the Boys/Girls Club.  Many young people were there and it is very painful for them.......I just don't get it!

Liv is supposed to have softball practice AND a Girl Scout Meeting, so we will see which one she gets to attend.  If it is raining, she may be able to go to the Girl Scouts.

Not much else going on here.....

Everyone have a wonderful day dodging rain drops!

Good Morning.

Christine, when do you leave for your vacation?

Crystal, don't dwell on being alone Sunday. Do a me day. Go shop, see a movie, go get an ice cream (ok, that's a bit extreme, but you get what I mean).

Paul, I am glad you finished your class, and am ready to start your new carreer. Congrats on your one year suriversary. You have lost how much? You have done great. Do you think a fill would jump start that last few pounds to come off?

i had a small wow moment last night. I was out planting flowers and my neighbor stopped to talk for a few. She was sitting there, we were talking about something, not sure what, and she said to me, " I didn't think you had such a small frame". She then asked how much I have lost, and when I told her almost 100 lbs, she looked surprised. Hmmm, that gave me a warm feeling.

Ok, off to work, Have a great day,

Hugs

Lisa

Good morning Illinois!
We are back home...took me awhile to catch up on the reading as I never had time to get on the computer. Welcome to all the newbies!
We started early and took breaks for lunch and dinner.

Mike and Michelle's house is huge...a lot of work was done and there still is  a lot more to finish. The appliances will arrive on Friday and the carpet will be installed on the 13th, then they can move in.
Dan started painting  on Monday morning and every room was done before he left on Friday morning.

Bella got car sick on the way there but adapted well to her surroundings while in WV.

Yesterday was Vince's 3rd birthday. Had to call and sing to him.

I'm caught up on the unpacking, grocery shopping and the laundry.
Today I need to run to Hobby Lobby and see if the wall plaques I ordered are in. Since Dan painted my dining, living room and entry for my birthday last month I've decided to buy new things for the walls.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Carol
