I was there Sat am from maybe 5:15 to about 630 ish - 10 min warm up on th eellyptical then did some weights and finished cardio on the ellyptical.
I hav e a very difficult time recognizing people from the avtars, like a mental block thing. there were a couple people who came in and worked out on th eellyptical and treadmill while I was there.

Just because someone is a nurse doesn't mean they are any way knowledgeable about wls, or have had any contact or experience with it. Or may have only heard inaccurate , misleading, misinformation about it - the horror stories - some of which I am convinced are urban legend. ot that 2 /100 people who have it die - NOT TRUE. I do my best to educate those I can - ie morbidly obese people having any surgery are at risk, but the death rate for a morbidly obese person having a knee surgey is actually higher than a rny. Unfortunately there are people who have had wls who pass on misinformation. and those who do not lead a healthy lifestyle post op give a bad name to the rest of us.
Nursing is very specialized these days - a pediatric, ob, nursery , nurse will not have any experience with wls. OR nurse may have participated in the actual procedure with out knowing anything about the follow up or lifestyle changes necessary for it to be successful, or needs for supplelemntation. med surg nurses may take care of immediate post op nurses but not know what aptient needs a month down the road. they do too many procedure to be familiar with every thing on every one.
that is one reason I went to BArix - it is all they do. every staff member is fully trained about wls and many have had it themselves.
