CRAZY DIETS... JUST FOR FUN...
Today a woman I worked with was describing this CRAZY diet fad that she was fallowing.. According to her you’re supposed to eat half a Lemon twice a day and its supposed to curve you appetite. We ate lunch together and I have to say as she was eating her lemon and really not looking to be enjoying it suddenly all of the CRAZY diets I have tried over the years FLASH back into my mind. For me there were MANY!!!! With out any control I burst into laughter. The lady that described this to me seamed so hurt. I had to explain myself to her. She understood.
But, it made me curious about other people and what off the wall diets they had fallowed before getting to surgery..
So do share what was the CRAZIEST diets you have tried???

For me, I think the craziest diet was Atkins original. I lost 30 pounds on it in the first few months, but ate that way for 2 years and never lost another ounce. After a while, I gave up, and gained back well over 50 pounds.
I was never one to really do a "diet" by the book. I just always was trying "something", which of course, never worked.
Even after surgery, I have found that I lost to a certain point, and it seems that no matter WHAT I do, nothing works. It is very frustrating when I let it get to me. Usually, I try to be thankful for what I HAVE accomplished and am now trying to settle on a "way of life" as opposed to a "diet". I DID NOT have this surgery to be continually on a "diet"........i.e. "Plateau Buster", "5 Day Pouch Test", "Atkins Induction", "No Carb", etc....
Anyone who thinks we took the "easy way out" needs to think again!

I guess the craziest thing I ever did, well, make that 2 things, was Curves, I lost 10 and put back on 25, and Nutrasystem. I was on that for 3 months, at a cost of $900. and lost 10 lbs, that makes it $90. per pound. It all works, if you follow it to the letter, but you can't stay on a diet your entire life. Remember what we were taught, DIETS DON'T
WORK.
