Saturday Roll Call

Good morning my Illinois OH Friends!

Been a while since I started roll call.  I have been bad about checking in, I am addicted to facebook really bad....lol  I will try to be better.

What is up in your neck of the woods?  I am getting ready to go to Kentucky for the 4th of July.  My cousins asked Bill and I down since this is our first 4th without mom, and my nephew is getting married, but Bill and I wasn't asked to the wedding.  Long story!  Here is the short version...my sister thinks she didn't get enough money from mom's estate.  It was equally divided 4 ways!  I would rather have my mother back then money though.

Well, it is gonna be another hot one, so my day will consist of more pool time.

It looks like it is going to be another beautiful day....not too much on the agenda today...just  a few errands.....Ava might be having a "sleepover" at grandma's this weekend....still waiting to find out exactly when she will be arriving. I'll take her home on Monday.

Good Morning Dee and Illinois!

I agree that it is supposed to be another hot one today.  But here it is supposed to cool off tomorrow and all of next week.  I will take it!

Dee, I sure can relate to hurt feelings over estates.  There is always one in the bunch.  I always looked at it as my mom didn't "owe" me anything and whatever I received was wonderful!  I'm like you, I would rather have her back than have the money.  

I am becoming the queen of spills.  Today, the jug of water for the outdoor cat feel off of the walker tray!  Fortunately, this time it was in the kitchen and only water and the floor is vinyl.  I have got to figure out how to get tha****er outside without spilling it!  My sham wows are getting a workout.  

I am doing a great job of mixing up my days and nights already.   So call me the night owl.

Still in WI and will be until Monday afternoon. Going to have lunch with our group here in a short while then we will hit the inside waterpark as the weather is cloudy here. They have a lazy river that you can just float in. There are water slides and tube runs that are fun also. I did one yesterday outside that was all in the dark, NEVER again. I could not keep my head up for the last couple of loops and it was banging on the tube. The inside tubes do go outside, are enclosed but you are not in the dark, more fun. I have done them before.

Of course I am getting a lot of reading in and am planning next year's flowers and veg's. Will be taking my books over to the park for that. My sister is at my house right now, sorry I could not be there with her and her DH but at least she has a place to stay with out paying for a room. It also make my house loo****upied when we are not there.
