I have been fighting for some time now... I was able to find a clinic  that would see me for free. After seeing the Dr. and building a jacket I applied at soc. sec. and was denied.. I hired a local att. and was denied a second time.. Im now waiting on a court date.. I guess what I want to know is if anyone knows an att. that maybe knows more about dealing with the courts and  fighting for benifits for people that are obese.

Allsup is the firm I used to get my SSDI approved. However, my condition that resulted in me being disabled is not obesity related. Allsup will give you a free evaluation of your case, so it wouldn't hurt for you to contact them at www.allsup.com . I had applied and received my first denial when I was referred to Allsup... about 8 months later I was approved.

Good luck... ~Marci
