IMPATIENT! Dr. Alverdy's Office

I am soooooooo hoping to get a approval letter to be accepted into University of Chicago, program.

I am not sure how long does it take them to response to my consulation. I want to call but, I sure dont want them to think I am not patient...lol

Ok so once you attend the evaluation and the info session you still have to wait for approval from the Dr?

Thats what I was told!

But Dr. Alverdy seem to be cool with accepting me....he even STRONGLY recommended the DS surgery..

I am just waiting for acceptance letter, then I assume they will submitt...

I never got an official acceptance letter.  During my 1st consultation with Dr. Alverdy, he told me what he wanted to do and then began drafting a letter to my insurance company.

I called today, and they said I was accepted into the program, and Yvonne (which is really nice) told me that she was going to send my package today to the insurance.

Now all I can do is pray that BCBSIL will approve DS.

She said that they may have to do a peer review, and get other documentation if that doesnt work.
