I guess this new regulation is a good thing since there is a huge abuse of drugs in the world.
I've got a sufficient amount at least through the next day.

Pre-op/RNY day/pre DS day/current/goal- Realize Band 5/15/08; RNY 6/8/05, Removal Band and RNY to DS 8/25/10. RNY & Band surgeon was Dr. Guske.

Thought I would join the daily roll call....Since I have decided to do RNY, instead of DS.
Through much prayer God has lead me to stop my appeal process for DS, and go with RNY.
Dr. Alverdy's office (University of Chicago) will be sending my paper work to BCBSIL, for predermination for RNY. I am excited and happy about it!
I look forward to the wonderful things that God, has in store for me.
Onward!

I can understand your feelings and anxiousness to get a surgery date. Hopefully you will hear in no time.
I hope you are in peace with having the RNY instead of the DS. You need to do what is best for you and that is your decision to make. Of course, it would help if the insurance company would agree with your decision.

Good morning Lucy and the rest of Illinois!
I had SUCH a hard time getting out of bed and then staying out. I REALLY wanted to crawl back under the covers and sleep listening to the rain fall. BUT....I was a good girl, got up, showered, dressed and into work.
I took my kids for haircuts last night and they both look very nice. David got about an inch of the white cut off (it is white from when he bleached it to dye it blue for the last day of school) and he looks presentable again. Liv got almost 6 inches cut off of her very long hair and she was SO happy. It was really great to see her happy and confident in her appearance. All 13 year old girls should feel so good!
Not too much else going on. Hoping the rain stops for Saturday, but we have canopies in case it does not.
My next test is scheduled for Tuesday. Hopefully, that will be the last one.

I always feel good after I get a haircut. I've got my appointment for next Friday.
Yes, the rain must stop! I'm tired of being soaked even with an umbrella.
Tomorrow's my MRI - so hopefully I will have some answers next week Wednesday.
