Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois,
It looks to be a beautiful start to the weekend. Get out, do something, This weekend is the unofficial end of the summer. I love summer, but I adore the fall. I love to be able to wear sweatshirts and sweaters and jeans with socks. And, not have to wear coats. I guess I love the comfy clothes of the season.
Today, my DD, DGD and I are going roadtripping. Its a annual thing for Labor Day weekend. We are going to try to get up to the Art Show that Paul is going to be at. Art Shows are a fun way to spend a day.
Last night we went to Red Lobster for dinner. I ordered an appetizer, the New England seafood sampler. I was able to eat the stuffed mushrooms ( lobster, crab, and shrimp stuffing), and brought home the clams and wood grilled schallups.(?). It was a bit expensive, 10.99, but I will have at least one more meal out of it. It was soooooooooo good.
Have a safe day today. Get out and walk. Don't spend the day cooped up in the house.

Very foggy out by me this morning, but hopefully it will turn into a beautiful day. Today i plan on going to a informational meeting at Alexian Brothers Hospital called Eating patterns and behaviors, then a lap band support group. After that I am going to spend time with my inlaws wgo are here from MN. and the hubby and kids.
We also have to go and buy a new gold fish because my daughters passed away last night. She was so upset but he lasted 1 year and 9 months we tried to explain how long that is for a gold fish but it didn't really help. There were a lot of tears for such a little girl. She is going to be 5 at the end of the month. She will be ok though.
Tomorrow we are going to the zoo! The kids will be excited for that. At least it won't be like 90 outside. Well everyone have a wonderful weekend! Lisa

I noticed Lisa mentioned my support group. It is going to start tentativley on October 12th at 6:30pm. I am not sure where though, but I am looking between Sugar Grove and somewhere around Delnore Hospital. If only people would call me back I nail the location down also. I will let you know when I get that figured out.

Chris and Dave = straightening up around the house, a little bit of outside yard work, tending to the neighbor's garden a little bit, Willow Creek to feed the production team dinner and then maybe out for a small bite to eat after wards.
Not really all that exciting. That is it in a nutshell for the rest of the weekend - housework and yard work.

I'm so sorry to hear about the goldfish demise, but it is the circle of life. One year and nine months sounds like a good, long life!
We had our anniversary dinner a week early last night. I took Liz and the kids to the restaurant that was where Liz and I had our second date (The restaurant from our first date closed years ago). I had salad, steak, lobster and baked potato! I brought a good deal of it home as left overs, but it was heaven. I did over eat a bit and felt like a blimp, but I was happy to be able to get solid food down without a bad reaction.
Today is art show day and the whole family is coming so it should be a lot of fun. The fair is in Lake In The Hills, IL from 11:00am until 5:00pm. I look forward to seeing you there, Lisa. I create wood turned products (pens, bottle toppers, ice cream scoops, etc...).

Good for you Paul, I hope the show is successful. Happy early anniversary to you and your wife. My hubby and I just celebrated our 6 year Anniversary last weekend, married 6 years and together for 10. I am lighter now than when he first meet me! That is a great WOW moment!!!
