Randy update

I just got off the phone with Randy's wife, Cheryl and she says he is out of surgery. He went in at 830ish and it took 7 hours for his surgery. The doctor did not fix his hernia. He had open gastric. He is on his way to ICU where she said he might have a breathing machine. She did not know how many days he would be in ICU. Cheryl is real tired from her long day.

They both wish to thank everyone for all the thoughts and prayers that went out for them.

PS - Dave and I will be taking Amtrak up to Milwaukee from Friday morning until Monday afternoon. Cheryl has my cell number - she might call and update me. I will have my PC with.

Thank you Christine for the update, I will keep them both in my thought and prayers.

      Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Thanks Christine.. Glad to hear Randy is out of surgery. I'm so glad he was finally able to make it to the losers bench. It was a long roller coaster for him.

No, I have to work but I did tell my boss that I need off the first Thursday of each month starting next month. I really need the support and fellowship so I'm going to try my best to be accountable.

thanks for the update Christine. I have thought about him throughout the day and said some prayers. That is a VERY long surgery. I am glad he is through with it and hope that a speedy recovery begins.

Thanks for letting us know about Randy. If you talk to his wife again, please tell her she needs to take care of herself too! I'm glad Randy made it through ok, sounds like it was a pretty long procedure. I'll keep sending prayers their way.

Hi Chris. I've been thinking about Randy all day yesterday.

I'm happy to hear that he made it through surgery but somewhat surprised that he landed up with an open RNY.

Please give my regards and prayers for Randy's speedy recovery to Cheryl.
